Excellent all round!

So where do I start? Me and my partner booked a random spontaneous night out expecting it to be chilled and a nice relaxing night which it was up until about half past 11 It all started when a gentleman who was ‘living’ in the room next door started shouting and swearing to the point of him hitting himself and whatever else my partner being the caring person that she is went to check on the well being of the man when he started shouting and using threatening behaviour my partner then went down stairs to tell the staff in which at first was attentive and tried calming the other man down. My partner at this point wanted to leave it was about 11:30 at night and we thought if they gave us a refund with how we had been treated and did not feel safe at this point she the owner and her partner both refused my refund and told me I had to contact ********** whilst being kicked out and being left on the streets- the women was threatening my partner that she was going to hurt her - so we decided the best thing to do was to leave the premises and try and find alternative accommodation I would never ever visit this place again! The room was basic shared toilet facility’s but suppose you get what you pay for. Would highly NOT recommend this hotel and advice anyone not to go as they are dangerous. I will await my refund.

Take your thermals! On arrival the hallway was lovely and warm and welcoming. However, our room was freezing even though there was central heating, it was not turned on. There was a small oil filled electric radiator that didn't warn the room. Glad I took a hot water bottle as I have a bad back. The mattress was so uncomfortable for both of us.when the room next door used the bathroom we heard it. On a positive note it was very clean and breakfast was good. I will stay in hotel next time for the £20 difference.

We booked one night ,but sadly had to leave become of a problem at home ,the room very basic and not very comfy .big hole in the wall behind door ,banged my head near the slopped ceiling near the bed ,wouldnt come again

Stayed at St Andrews House Hotel several times over last few months. Every stay has been very welcoming and nice. Great staff, service and good rooms.

Lovely clean comfortable hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and served promptly.

I've now stayed at St Andrews House Hotel a number of times in the past few weeks. Each stay has given me consistently good and warm service. Very helpful team of people supporting everyone's stay. Breakfast is really nice and because I rush in the mornings, the staff packs the breakfast for me too. Overall, really nice hotel to stay in with very good staff!!

I have now stayed twice at St Andrews hotel and both stays have been very nice. Good rates, lovely breakfast and most of all, very good and hospitable service!!

Reasonably priced, very good breakfast, warm room. Was able to check in late, which meant i didnt have to waste some of the day. Nothing i didnt like.
