To whom it may concern: You(all past, present, future customers and concerned parties) should be on notice that the Hudson House is operating a business where it allows certain customers to be stalked, monitored and harassed. Based on several lies, untruths that the owner(Loelle Smith) has told, I recommend not a Soul patronize and support this so called establishment! As of my check in date(December 12, 2023), these lies and same constructed situations that resembled the same noise disturbances created at my prior hotel stays caused me to feel uncomfortable and unsafe at this Hudson House. After the 4th day of not receiving the services and request(s) that I previously discussed with Loelle, I asked that if I checked out a night prior(December 15, 2023) to my original check-out time,reservation would he refund or credit me back one night's accommodation(1,260 Rands). He-Loelle replied No. So let's Expose how Hudson House really operates. The 1st Lie or Request Discrepancy was right after I checked in and stated to him that I'd had some prior bad experiences at hotel establishments in reference to noise disturbances(other customers being consistently loud, annoying over the time of my stay). So the first untruth is based on me asking if possible(which every night of my stay he-hudson house had at least 8 of 12 rooms vacant) not to place anyone right next to me or place me away from his busy rooms-stays. So shortly after this conversation, what does he-Loelle do, just as I'm checking in, place me right next to a planted informant(a situation involving my former municipal governmental employer in the united states of america). This situation created an uncomfortable memory of past unfavorable hotel experiences.! 2nd Lie or request discrepancy: I asked if this establishment prepared meals(as would a restaurant) for it's customers. Loelle stated No, that just breakfast ala carte type was served. Well the same night(December 15) that I discussed with him about checking out early, he and Sopu(his resident maid) were preparing a meal-dinner for a client, Customer... 3rd Problem was based on a constant noise from a vacuum from approximately 8 am to 4 pm. Why are you using vacuum almost 7 hours all day for 4 used, occupied rooms.? And Loelle was of course not present for the 2 days that this vacuum was used allegedly to clean two floors of overall space at hudson house which I estimate is less than a quarter of a kilometer of property. 4th Problem was that intrusion, violation of my paid personal space(hotel room 9) when Sopu and the vacuum cleaning person entered my room after clearly having a conversation with her Not to clean/enter my room-9. Of course, Loelle Smith(so called owner) will deny and divert from the factual stated lies that he's told.
