埃爾莫羅酒店(Hotel El Moro)

Abbiamo trovato questo hotel per caso facendo una gita a Puerto Morelos. Siccome non avevamo ancora deciso dove passare gli ultimi giorni del nostro viaggio on the road in Messico e questo hotel ci piaceva tanto, abbiamo deciso di prenotare. È stata una scelta azzeccata. L'hotel è bellissimo, il giusto mix fra moderno e tradizionale con personale gentilissimo. La colazione viene preparato al momento da alcune signore. Abbiamo passato un bel soggiorno qui. Se dovessimo tornare a Puerto Morelos, dormiremo sicuramente qui

Struttura a più piani, in generale abbastanza semplice, ma carina e colorata, posizionata a due passi da tutto (spiaggia, piazza, negozietti e bar/ristoranti). L’hotel si trova su una strada (che potremmo definire principale) che la sera viene chiusa al traffico, divenendo strada pedonale e dove i locali che vi si affacciano vi pongono i tavoli e tutto si anima di gente e musica. Camera: discrete dimensioni, situata a piano terra, confortevole e dotata aria condizionata, cassaforte, TV, ampio frigo, forno a microonde e un minimo equipaggiamento da cucina. Nel bagno dispenser di sapone e shampoo, non c’era l’asciugacapelli, ma penso che se lo avessimo chiesto lo avrebbero procurato… Fuori dalla camera un tavolo con due sedie. Presente una piscina di modiche dimensioni all’apparenza non particolarmente curata, quindi poco invitante, non l’abbiamo utilizzata. Colazione: nello standard messicano, niente di eclatante (ma noi non siamo appassionati della colazione….) servita in un giardinetto all’aperto. Personale disponibile e cordiale. Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno tranquillo e rilassante. In generale Puerto Morelos si è rivelato una piacevole scoperta, un luogo ancora abbastanza tranquillo, non affollato e soprattutto non ancora affogato dai resort…

Fantástico everything perfect! Shala najeli Alyssa the staff freind friendly and Welcoming. 100m from beach Breakfast was delicious chilaquiles eggs fruit coffee beans. Stayed 1 night and will return. Restraints bars shops nearby. Location value breakfast room all great. Mucha Gracias

Estando en Puerto Morelos este Hotel se vuelve la mejor opción por lo que ofrece, está prácticamente a unos pasos de la playa, muy cerca de los parques acuáticos y bueno, cuenta con lo básico para tu estancia, la habitación que nos asignaron cuenta con refrigerador, cocineta, garrafón con agua, etc, está bien equipada, la relación costo beneficio están muy de la mano, creo que es coherente el precio por noche, la atención del personal es buena y amable, quizá en el área de oportunidad que pueden trabajar es en el tema de las puertas del baño (no tenía pasador o cerrojo pro dentro pero sólamente es que le echen un ojo, las habitaciones más recomendables podría decir que son las de la parte de atrás, en el frente hay mucho ruido porque el hotel se encuentra prácticamente en la zona de bares y restaurantes y por lo general , si buscas descansar, ese ruido no te lo va a permitir

the staff was unsure whether to charge my card onsite, and so they do. later they credited the double payment. if they understand that the ********** transaction is pre-paid, they could work with greater confidence. this has happened at more than one hotel.

This hotel is in a very convenient location close to the ocean and town square. There is a shop right next door where we did most of our personal and gift shopping. The peninsula restaurant is also next door with excellent food and service and reasonably priced, so we ate dinner there twice. The rooms vary in size and mine was perfect for 1 person while my friends had a spacious suite for 2 with kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was good and always had a hot entree. But the best part of our stay was the staff. The manager Eli was always gracious, patient and kind. He attended to any concerns or needs we had and helped my friends mum with whatever she needed , which is important as she is 77 and uses a cane. Gabriella the desk clerk was always cheerful and helpful and Fernando as well. The customer rapport was the in the top 2 I have ever experienced in Mexico. The other would be the Tamarindo in Cozumel, also an excellent place to stay. I highly recommend casa el Moro for a safe comfortable relaxed environment to stay long or short term.

What a magical little place, from the landscape, to individually decorated rooms, to the staff that feels like family! I will admit I wouldn't have checked out this property because I thought the nightly rate was too much for the star rating, but it was highly recommended and I really needed a place. How grateful I am! I did discover that with this property it is best to book direct, much better rates. You can also call with questions and they always answer (not always the case with hotels in this part of Mexico, in my experience). Exceptional staff. Not just some of them, all of them! Some of the staff is fluent in English and others speak enough that there were no communication issues. All were incredibly accommodating. You need something, just ask. Massage, laundry, bicycle rental? Done. Absolutely 5-star staff! You could not ask for a better location. Only a couple of blocks from everything (market, town square, beach, and taxis). You step out to the street that is closed off every evening and becomes a pedestrian only street so all of the amazing restaurants can have outdoor seating. Lots of lights, music, great aromas. The rooms have lots of light and large windows (many rooms with multiple windows), and are clean, comfortable, and everything works. There is plenty of warm (even hot) water with enough water pressure. I assumed that being in the middle of all the action that sound would be an issue. Surprisingly, no issue at all. Unless of course, I had all the windows open and enjoyed the cross breeze and in the evening, then the live music was just a bonus. The included breakfast was always delicious and included hot food, fresh fruit, coffee, fresh juice, etc. The landscape is lush, beautiful and well maintained, as is the pool, which has a fountain which is like music to my ears. So relaxing. The internet worked well for all my streaming and work needs. I've stayed her more than once, in more than one room, and I will be back. It truly is my favorite hotel in Mexico, my home away from home!

Eduardo Gustavo antonio is the best bartender in the whole resort! My standard order is an old fashion and he not only made it the best but he is amazing to converse with. He is friendly, energetic and makes you feel welcome from start to finish even during the busy times. Thank you Eduardo!!!!
