艾爾霍特里多27號酒店(El Hotelito 27)

This is a great hotel in the centre of La Palma and makes for a good base to explore the island. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had about the town or the buses. I had a room in the lower floor and although it was a bit warm when I walked in there is a window which looked out onto a small enclosed patio area as such. The room was a small single and was both clean and comfortable. There are different choices for breakfast but I should have booked a table and the only available time (9.30) was a bit of a squeeze to catch my bus but the helpful staff recommended a café just down the road one minute away. Good location, clean and comfortable, would be happy to stay there again.

First of all I really dont understand some negative reviews about this hotel. Honestly, I work in hospitality for more then a decade and I've traveled quite a lot, but I won't lie If I say that I had the most pleasant personal in this hotel, everytime all of them with smile on their faces, looking how to help you. I love small details how they've made my towels in a shape of a swan for example. Hotel itself is in a great location 3 minutes from all the important spots, 5 from the beach. Breakfast was very nice, you have 3 options (British,continental and healthy) I've choosen "British" one since I needed a "fuel" for my hikes. Hotel is quite quiet and very clean. You'll make a mistake if you book somewhere else while you are staying in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

Decoración tan minimalista que resulta austera e incómoda, sin una silla, mesa de trabajo, sin puerta en el armario… Limpieza deja mucho que desear, la cama sólo la estiran, te dejas algo y la hacen con ello dentro, dejan los cojines el suelo, ventana abierta todo el día, pelos del cliente anterior por todos lados, etc La cortina no cierra bien y en cuanto amanece entra demasiada luz, no hay persianas.

Petit hôtel près du centre ville et du bord de mer. La chambre était très basique et minuscule, avec une unique fenêtre donnant dans une mini cour intérieure très sombre

Antigua pensión convertida en hotel. El personal es muy atento y servicial y el trato es excelente. Las habitaciones cuentan con un mobiliario antiguo y gastado. La zona del pasillo y los patios a los que dan las ventanas son ruidosos y la limpieza es muy básica y mejorable. Las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado (sí un ventilador), se echa de menos algún enchufe más de los que hay, un mobiliario y ropa de cama más nuevo y disponer de gel o champú de uso individual en el baño.

Clean & simple room. Efficient & friendly check in. Good quality sheets & comfortable beds. We had the balcony option; great for a quiet drink overlooking the tiled rooves to the ocean. Nearby Tasca with good food, 10 minute walk to the port with our luggage to catch the early ferry - all downhill. Ideal location to explore the old town of Santa Cruz. Parking nearby (bit tight) in Calle San Sebastián. Would absolutely recommend.

Small but very cozy hotel.
