米拉多馬爾別墅酒店(Mirador del Mar Villas)

Just got back this morning after a two week stay at MIRADOR DEL MAR VILLAS , I’d previously posted on a travel group about the villa ( a day into our stay) and on the surface everything was good and purely based off aesthetics i recommended the place to lot of people on there. however, after a two week stay i now take it back. Although it is a lovely place the hosts let it down badly. The pool Was filthy and not cleaned until the day before we were leaving, bed sheets were not changed so we had to wash them ourselves, they advertised that a cleaner would come once a week which did not happen. As we approached our last day i messaged the host and asked if we could possibly leave our luggage there until our transfer arrived, she replied that we had to be out of the property by 11:30 for cleaners but we could use the pool until 1:30 and leave our suitcases until we were ready to go the airport. Fair enough. Then, the morning we were leaving 2 teenage girls with a very little interpersonal skills arrived to clean the property at 10:30 am! We politely told them we would need more time as we were still getting ready etc. “how long”? Was the reply..we told them 20 minutes, they then sat outside waiting. Then one of the girls told me we needed to take our suitcases with us because they were expecting the next booking. I explained to her what her mother had told me, she then rang her mother and said fine they can stay until 3pm, we were not getting picked up until 6:30pm but ok great and we left. Fast forward to around 2:45pm we were about head back for the cases when i received a WhatsApp off Marta ( the teenage cleaners mother and host of the property) accusing us of breaking the wifi router for which she wanted payment!! She whatsapped me a photo of the router with the Ariel appearing to be snapped off!! Now i know for a fact that router was fully intact right before we left as i done the last full house check of every room and corner of the villa as everyone else was stood outside, i then changed the connection setting on my phone from wifi to which it was still connected, to mobile data. Plus my children are not animals, they never even touched router once during our stay let alone break it. I hurried back to the villa and was met by the daughter who had her mother on the phone. She was adamant it was broken but i stood my ground, i then chose to check my luggage right there on the front lawn because they clearly could not be trusted as i knew i wasn’t lying so it made me feel very uncomfortable having left our stuff with them. Anyway i stood my ground, told her straight she wasn’t getting a penny for something we didn’t do. 30 euro they wanted, she then called her mother back who was screaming down the phone, i still stood my ground and eventually she said ok fine leave it you can go. 😐 The absolute cheek i was raging.
