加拉柏戈斯瀉湖酒店(Hotel la Laguna Galapagos)

L'hotel ha camere spaziose e belle, con divanetto e armadio per abiti. Dormito benissimo grazie alla zona silenziosa e al condizionatore nuovo che non faceva rumore. Il bagno con tutto quello che serve, phon e doccione con acqua ben regolabile e calda. C'è anche una piscina con sdraine, che abbiamo sfruttato sia per asciugare l'equipaggiamento da sub che per farci un bagno con l'acqua calda. Nota dolente la colazione, molto basica e senza alcun servizio, mancavano varie cose e il personale un cuoco e un inserviente si preoccupavano più di chiacchierare che di sistemare le carenze di prodotti. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere più di una volta, mancava lo zucchero e il The (c'era solo un tipo di tisana con semi che non graadivo) e altro. L'inserviente era più il tempo che passava al telefonino che l'attenzione verso i clienti, qui sarebbe stata licenziata in tronco. Il box lunch molto scarso, una banana stramatura immangiabile, un succo di frutta e un pacchetto di crackers.

l'hôtel est calme et proche de tout, il donne sur la lagune avec les flamants roses. C'est vraiment le plus de cet hotel. La piscine est toute petite, mais il y a 2 jacuzzis sur le rooftop. Il faut demander à la reception et il le prépare exprès pour vous. La chambre était plutôt grande et confortable, sauf la salle de bain qui est petite et pas très pratique. Le pdj était simple mais bon, avec des fruits, du pain ou pancake et des oeufs préparés à la demande.

La infraestructura del hotel es buena, pero hay algunos inconvenientes, el principal es el mal olor resultado del vertido del efluente del hotel hacia la laguna, que a pesar de su bello nombre y la presencia real de algunos flamencos rosados no es otra cosa que una laguna de oxidación de aguas servidas. Hay una pasarela de madera con la intención de convertirla en un lugar atractivo y tomar fotografías pero apenas en los primeros metros se puede ver a la derecha la cámara por donde pasa el caño del vertido y sentir el olor nauseabundo. Ojalá que en un futuro próximo se resuelva, sobre todo considerando que en estas islas el cuidado del medio ambiente debería ser prioritario.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti a La Laguna durante la nostra visita a Isabela e la nostra permanenza in struttura é stata ottima! I due ragazzi alla reception sempre molto gentili e a disposizione per qualsiasi domanda avessimo in merito ai nostri tour organizzati sull'isola. L'ambiente é molto famigliare, la posizione ottima, a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e lo chef prepara dei piatti locali molto buoni. Di fronte la laguna di fenicotteri rosa dove si può osservare qualche esemplare in un panorama pacifico. CONSIGLIATISSIMO. Elisa e Luca

First I was very surprised to be greeted at the dock by staff members to take me to the hotel. The place was very comfortable very clean and everyone at the front desk was simply amazing. They organized all our activities, they helped store our luggage a couple of hours before our ferry left after check out. Free water was always available with great wifi considering the island. The location was great only a km walk from the docs and two blocks away from the main plaza. Waking up to flamingos every morning was great. The bath to the wall of tears is also right next to the hotel and the breakfast was standard but good. Overall great stay

I had actually booked Hostal Villamil but when I arrived to Puerto Villamil at the ferry port I was told that I had been upgraded to here. It seems like I lucked out as this was such a lovely hotel. The 2 guys that work at reception were very helpful and friendly and always gave a warm welcome. It is also possible to book trips through reception. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a nice roof terrace which is lovely to sit on and plenty of seating at the front of the hotel. It is situated opposite the lagoon where you can see flamingoes which is a nice start to every day. The beach is a one minute walk away and gives direct access into the sea. Puerto Villamil is a very small town so all accommodation is central. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Isabela.

We loved our stay here! Not only was the property wonderful but the staff went above and beyond to meet all our needs. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel looks out onto a lagoon but is walking distance from everything in the town. We highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed there 3 nights. The employees are hard working and mostly helpful. However, this is a hotel where they made bad design choices. The rooms in the main hotel; some of them face an area where they built the new part of the hotel. So, when you are in your room you are looking at the hallway and the entrances of the rooms in the other part of the hotel. Not only you don't get natural sun light or a view but you also don't get good air circulation. The first room they gave me had mold all over. The air conditioner was full of mold. When I told the reception about it, they acted like they didn't know what mold was. I looked at hostals afterwards and regretted not booking a hostal for a third of the price or booking a nice hotel by the beach. After a day, they gave me a nicer room in the nicer part of the hotel but I had to go through a lot of hassle with the employees to get that room. They don't seem to care that there is a serious mold issue in the rooms.

A friend and I stayed at the La Laguna for 3 nights and stayed in a Superior Twin Room. The room itself was a bare-bones accommodation - 3 twin beds, an air-conditioner and a bathroom. There was no TV, but there was a wall-mount for a TV and a TV remote, as if the TV had been recently removed. We weren't there to watch TV, so no big deal, but it was a little weird. We swam or snorkeled everyday while on Isabela, so we had wet clothes everyday, but there was nowhere in or outside the room to hang wet gear to dry. (Bring your own portable clothesline.) The woman at the front desk helped us to book two excursions, which was helpful, but could not help us in recommending a place to eat - it was as if she had no idea what options were available closeby, which left us shaking our heads a bit. The breakfast was the worst we experienced in our over two week stay in the Galapagos, and was only served from 7:00 to 8:30. If you arrived later than about 7:45, you were forced to pick through the dregs of what was left. The sliced bread had already begun to harden and the fruit was of the overly-ripe variety. There were scrambled eggs, but they were undercooked and very 'wet'. I settled for a piece of toast, and a borderline banana each morning. The most interesting things happened upon and after checkout. I had booked on *******, and when we checked out, the woman at the front desk asked for payment. I told her I thought it was handled through *******, and she replied that ******* takes the reservation and I still had to make payment. She followed with saying that if I left a 5/5 star review, we could have the room for free. Wanting to save a few bucks, I agreed, and wrote and accurate review. Later, when I checked my account, I found that I HAD been charged by ******* for the room - and that the charge was posted the day PRIOR to our check-in. It would seem that La Laguna would have known this prior to our checkout, making it seem that much more sketchy. The topper on the visit was when I returned home, to find two invoices in my email from their 'sister' hotel, San Vicente, for 3 nights stays in their 'Matrimonial Suite', which of course we never booked. The invoices had my name, email and passport number. The only place on Isabela that I gave that information out was when I wrote it down on the sign-in sheet at the La Laguna. I notified both the La Laguna and the San Vicente of this situation, and received no reply from either. Beware, La Laguna was not a reputable establishment in my opinion, and they way they dealt with payment and personal information was incompetent at best. I don't trust them. No way we'll stay there again.
