This was my second stay at the Majestic Elegance and third stay at the Majestic properties in Punta Cana as a whole. The resort is amazing. The staff are second to none, so engaging and friendly. The grounds are pristine and the accommodations are wonderful. The entertainments is great and so fun for guests of all ages. I am already planning my next trip back..

Overall I’d give a five star rating of it weren’t for a few things. First of all, we LOVED our stay here. My family had a wonderful time. We had a one bedroom suite and the set up was perfect for two adults and two kids. They had their own area and two beds were brought in for them. It still felt spacious and was nice that my husband and I still had privacy. The beach was beautiful! White sand and warm water. Pros: Friendly staff (with the exception of the front desk), beautiful beaches, fun entertainment, great food, piano bar, Japanese restaurant, pools, beautiful hotel/rooms/grounds. Cons: check in took some time and then they offered me a room upgrade, but wanted cash. I don’t feel like the price was transparent. She said it would be one price if I paid card, and less with cash and then somehow with cash it was still the same price. I was confused and annoyed and just wanted to get to the room. I wish I didn’t use my cash, I would have liked to tip the service staff more. We did a spa package and it was a nice treatment, but I wouldn’t do it again. The room was freezing which made it had to enjoy the massage and body wrap, and they forgot to do the therapy pool and sauna first. When we went to check out we were charged more that the package price. The front desk person argued with me, was rude and not at all helpful. I then had to pay the airport shuttle extra for waiting for me to try and figure it out.

This property is getting a 10/10 because they went above and beyond when it comes to entertainment. The one thing they really lack and can make a huge difference is labeling the food. The food was always mislabeled and not labeled at all. They need to realize that it’s very important to that because people have allergies and also religious preferences. The resort is beautiful. The swimming pool and beach are amazing and you always find a spot. There was some miscommunication here and there but nothing too bad you just need to be patient and they always try their best to make the customer happy. Excellent choice overall. Whoever is in charge of entertainment really know what they are doing and made our stay so much fun

We just came back from a 10 day stay. Property and rooms are beautiful. Nice beach and pools. The food is below average. The only good spot to eat is the hibachi and sea by sea. First day there our cleaning lady stole my diamond earrings out of the room. No one at the resort seemed to think it was a big deal and 10 days later no one had any answers for us. The wifi didn’t work half of our trip. The night life is very entertaining. We will not be back to this resort.

The grounds are great as well as the beach and ocean. Unfortunately F&B needs huge improvement. Very poor quality. The rooms are tired and need refreshment. The staff is nice. I appreciate Marcus’s efforts to make us happy, we loved the oasis on the beach.
