假期度假村(Hotel Holiday Resort)

Finding the hotel basis google maps ( we drove) is an issue as there aren’t direction boards and the hotel is inside a lane and the only board is atop the 4-5 storied building. There’s ample parking space , front office is well behaved and when they lead you to the rooms the facade towards the sea looks majestic with a lush green garden . Only two cottages ( if you’ve booked one like us ) face the sea and the rest are horrible like ours (114). Inside furnishings are decent and the bed is comfortable and room size is good and so are the washrooms . Pool is tiny and gets over crowded when you just have 12-14 people and sadly , one can’t swim then. Food served in restaurants is horrible in taste , I repeat very very bad and they are simply exorbitant cost wise ! Breakfast is only alacarte and never a part of room rate . You need to be careful with your belongings and not give any of your sea washed clothes / bags to dry outside your cottage . Our stuff meant to get dried simply vanished and the hotel had no solution to this ! Am sorry I won’t recommend people to this hotel and would rate them a 2/5.

Fantastic service, executives & staffs were very cordial. Clean rooms with attached bath, good ambience, very near to Puri Railway station. Front Office Executives are always there to help anyone 24 x 7. Food at its Restaurant was delicious.

Very cordial and efficient staffs, good restaurant eith varieties of menus, streches from Indian, chinese to continental: neat and clean premises, helpful staffs even when an medical emergency and prompt doctor on call service. Hassle free booking process also is appreciable.

We stayed in the Royal Suite; the rooms are big, beautiful and well decorated. They have two big LCDs in the room with bath tub, basic toiletries, living room, tea maker, snacks but the only thing we missed is complimentary breakfast. The same amount we had spent for trident with complimentary breakfast. Above all, it is a very good hotel, with a long view of lawn, swimming pool, spa, Gym etc. I request the owner to add complimentary breakfast next time I really want to go and have it

Pros-Location, food. (Proximity to beach and railway station. Although there is not a highlighted or marked way at the hotel for going to the beach) Cons- Hospitality, Housekeeping and staff behavior. Front office is highly discourteous, housekeeping and other staff have not been groomed for any hospitality. Inappropriate checkin and check out timings (10:00 am & 8:00 am) which is first of it's kind. The entire concierge was full of luggages of peoples who have been pushed out of the room due to these inappropriate timings and have to wait for further trains etc. No buffet option available either for breakfast or for lunch which is not a good thing as it took almost an hour to order and finish the meal at the restaurant.

Excellent stay, Good view, Staff were good, Food was good, Restaurant ambience is good, Front Desk and Travel Desk Personnel were very much effective and cooperative. Warm Hospitality with good location. Hope to visit this place again with more expectation.

Since 1987 every time we go to Puri we stay at Holiday Resort. I believe that speaks for itself. Puri is our HOLY destination where we visit at-least once a year. Since 1987 the hotel has grown a lot and its service and standard is always improving.

The rooms are just overlooking the beach especially fanily rooms which are on the 4th floor and 3rd floor. The continental food is good..the staff are polite and efficient. The hotel directly connects to Chakratirtha/Green beach however there are lots of little stairs in the hotel so aged people might have a problem. The only problem I had was while checking out...the room cleaning guy came for tips...once tipped he said there is another person and then another person also popped up asking for tips. Really irritating as had to leave but they kept popping one after the other.
