The view was amazing but nothing else was. For 5 star prices the service was lacking….no maid service, had to ask for extra supplies and they were given begrudgingly. The only restaurant in the area had very limited hours. The furniture was very old and uncomfortable and we had to remove our on garbage, and it was suggested that we sweep the floor ourselves. Overall it was a very disappointing experience

The room was had laces and mould in the wall and small toilet and manger was too serious for this work . The views was excellent. But what was bothering bad bad smalls in this room even we did open and closed the door still broken pipe smells everywhere.I asked manager to change my unit she said, she said all rooms sold out and , I have to pay extra for suits up 3 or 4 floors if any comes available. But location is excellent. Around hotel was clean.

Beautiful place, right across the street from beach. Receptionist was awesome. Easy parking. Great restaurant across the street and one just down the road. Would recommend.

We always have a great stay here. The views are fantastic!!! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Will be back soon!!!

Enjoyed the amazing views from the comfortable chairs in our room. Spacious, clean and nice wine glasses. Walkable distance to a number of good restaurants. Great value.

Amazing place to stay! The view from the room was incredible and it was very cozy with the chairs to sip tea and watch the seals jump up and down in the water. Every detail is there to make your trip feel comfortable. Even stopping by to see if you want any snacks or cheese. It was very clean, they had Dove products in the bathroom, coffee machine, kettle for tea, microwave almost anything you could think of. The bed was very comfortable and the elevator smells amazing. Wonderful and helpful staff too! I’m sad to leave and will definitely return on my next trip to Vancouver Island

Needing a late check-in, the staff went out of their way to contact us and give clear instructions and details for our arrival. Very personable and very much appreciated.

This is definitely an older hotel but had every amenity that you need. Beautiful view, great restaurant across the street. It was a perfect stopover. Simmie at the front desk was awesome. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely location across the road from the ocean and fantastic view from room. Accommodation was very clean and ample sized room with 2 chairs and a table for sitting and staring at the ocean. Outside walking to rooms and ample parking on site. Simi at front desk was the best and left a candle at our door when the power went out in Qualicum area storm. I would definitely book this hotel again

Staff is very friendly and considered. For a motel this is one of the best I have been.

I love that it is righr across from the beach and a wonderul Bar & Restaurant that is famous in qualicum!

Really great views from the room. Mostly quiet, slightly dated but amazing value for the area.

The Rooms are designed for great views of adjacent Ocean and Mountainous background. Room was "meticulously" clean, had all amenities, and, was very peaceful. Shopping was nearby, but quite inconspicuous. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. For the price, couldn't have been more pleased - not exaggerating! This is first accommodation where I literally found no fault. In future, will be returning. 👍
