The hotel is located in a very picturesque, mountainous area and is indeed a beautiful palace. The check in process is smooth with the exception of any guidance or assistance with luggage. The hotel manageress, Samira is exceptionally professional and goes to great lengths to make hotel guests feel welcome and valued. The service at the mountain restaurant The Challete Steakhouse is top notch, with delicious food and friendly and courteous staff. The great 5* star service unfortunately does not filter through to all amenities and due to my very poor experience, I would not recommend the SPA at this hotel. The staff here are very immature and require additional etiquette and basic training in how to deal professionally with guests. In particular, Husein is very argumentative and disrespectful and makes no apology for his poor behaviour and even encouraged me to report him to the hotel manageress. This incident left a very tarnished image not on the hotel itself but such things have a way of causing unnecessary stress and unhappiness during what is supposed to be a pleasant vacation.
