The room was not very clean. Floors needed vacuuming. The bed had a lot of little dark chips that reminded me of little bugs. I picked them off to make sure they were not but it still made me feel weary as I slept. The bottom of the refrigerator door was missing the rail that shows you to place a bottled drink there. This was not my best stay at Holiday Inn.

Very kind, friendly woman checked us in. She was chummy with me and my son and his friend. Appreciate the warm welcome to Raleigh!

My room had no lights, no heat and no working outlets near bed. I was told I would have my room changed in the morning and given a blanket. When I went to the Manager in the morning, they said sorry there are no extra rooms and when I asked for compensation they said they couldn’t give that. They expected me to freeze another night. On top of all of this I was attending a funeral. They told me to call *******. While I’m on the phone with *******, all of a sudden they decide they have a room available. ******* at 1st was no help as they said there was nothing they could do then I asked for a Supervisor and I was transferred to a dept., not a Supervisor who provided a voucher. It didn’t compensate for the 1 day that I asked for by $50 but at least something was offered, instead the hotel was extremely unaccommodating and acted like they didn’t care that I was sooo cold. I could deal with no lights and half the outlets not working but I couldn’t deal with no heat. It was very cold to me temperature wise and the way they acted.

I was very upset that the indoor pool was closed! I picked this hotel over several others in the area because of the indoor pool! There were cheaper hotels and closer hotels to our destination. There should be some sort of notification about important details like the pool being closed!

Property is older and currently being remodeled. First room I was given smelled like cigarettes. I informed management and they apologized and gave me a new room. Staff is kind and maid service daily, which is nice for the three day stay I had. Close to downtown and everything.

The outside of the property is not as clean as it looks in the picture. The area that the property is in is not in a nice area.

It’s a nice hotel especially for what we paid. We spent 2 days 1 night in Raleigh. The room is nice and clean, the bed is comfy. We love the breakfast, so many choices and some healthy options too. They even offer paper bags for guests to take some snakes with them, so thoughtful! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommended!
