As good as the last time I stayed. The staff are all so welcoming and obliging. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The kitchen produce excellent food. This time a steak and ale pie to die for.

Lovely, comfortable room. Very disappointed to be told food order had to be in by 6.25pm as kitchen closed at 6.30pm. Couldn’t make it until 7pm so I had to go out and find somewhere else to eat.

The Red Lion is a beautiful pub. Everything about our stay was delightful. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful.
The only downside is the car park is very full at lunchtime and evening dinner, a testament to the lovely food they serve I guess, also there is nowhere to sit other than on stools at the bar if you just want a drink. We would have no hesitation staying here again.
