The rooms are spacious, nice big shower, we were very comfortable here. The motel is well setup for groups with a lovely big shared hot tub, a bicycle lockup and super large shared lounge & kitchen. Would recommend booking as we turned up at 5pm out of season and got the last room available, lucky for us!

Very comfortable place to stay Very friendly greeting from staff member who was excellent at explaining all we needed to know about our bike storage and the properties facilities. Really nice shared lounge, dining and kitchen. Fabulous dinner and breakfast supplied as per our Otago Rail Trail Package. Spacious bedroom and nice bathroom facilities. All in all, great place to stay.

We were looking for a comfortable night on the rail trail with cooking facilities. The bed was very comfortable, the decor restful and the kitchen facilitates met our needs. The spa pool was a bonus. We were in the Hamilton Room which is a spacious studio unit. If the owners could check out the fridge that froze our food overnight I am sure it would be appreciated by the next guest. Thanks for the stay. I would recommend this motel and considered it good value for money and clean which is always appreciated.

We stayed in one of the units while biking the Rail Trail. The units are modern, spacious and very well presented. The included continental breakfast was very good. The large communal area is ideal for groups. Friendly, efficient hosts. Well located in Ranfurly, adjacent to the Trail.

Beautiful, well presented rooms that are modern and very clean. All the necessary amenities. Although next to main room the double glazing means almost no sound. Highly recommend this accommodation as value for money.

We stayed one night while on the rail trail. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated access to the full kitchen to cook dinner as dining options in Ranfurly itself are severely limited in the evening. We also really appreciated being able to have a soak in the spa after a long day biking. Secure bike parking was super useful, and easy for charging ebikes too.

We loved our stay our room was just perfect the the host was lovely and the welcoming we got was great as well. We would stay here again for sure highly recommend this Motel.

We stayed 1 night here while driving through Central Otago. Great location with town only 5-10 minute walk away. Off-street parking is a bonus. Nice sized room with everything we needed for the night and very clean and tidy. We loved the common room that offered full kitchen and dining table/chairs and gas fire and comfy seating. Would definitely recommend for an overnight while doing the rail trail.

Lovely hosts. We had a terrific room and impressive cleanliness. Only a short walk to the main part of Ranfurly. Certainly hope to visit again and experience Ranfurly in the summer. We didn’t do it but the Lodge is very close to the rail trail for those interested.
