This is the best place to stay in ranikhet. Old building is just like old british bunglow. Everything here is clean neat and as beautiful as ranikhet itself. Balcony views are serene and you can spot mountain peaks if weather is right. Staff here is extremely polite and ready to help with anything. Me and my family have a lovely one night stay here and we would definitely come back for more. Thank you !

Extremely good experience in the best heritage property of Ranikhet. Love the view from lodge, the cleanliness and the staff support are also very cooperative and polite. The food was also good. If you looking for the peace of mind then must visit there.

Last week, I went to Ranikhet for solo trip and booked Windsor lodge for 2days and 2 night. The stay was very comfortable and safe. The one who wants to take break from busy life, must go there and enjoy the serene beauty if nature. Must recommend heritage property in Ranikhet.

On top of everything service...starting from manager ajay sharma ji...who upgraded our room to aranging the pooja at jageshwar...he is excellent and very very friendly....the service done by girish and ganesh in the dining was exceptional....also to mention the roooms and the location and the lounge especially the executive rooms and the food...not a single glitch...definitely a must visit..i usually don't write reviews but this one exceeded expections...go for the executive rooms..

We had stayed at some other WelcomHeritage properties, so the expectation was high here. Sadly, we were wrong. The rooms we got were not just colonial, it seemed the carpets, upholstery, mattress, bed linen and the bathrooms had also not been updated since the days of the Raj. Staff was nice, but poor upkeep of the set of rooms our group got, made some of us actually wanting to check out and look for alternatives!

We, three couples decided to bring in the new year at Ranikhet and booked at Windsor Lodge Ranikhet. After a 10 hour drive, encountering some tyre issues enroute, reached the property at around 6.30 in the evening. It was COLD and we were treated with steaming tea and some hot Pakoras. Rooms were warm with heaters kept on by the Staff. After dinner, we retired early, being tired from a long drive. Got up to a panaromic view of the Himalayan range with snow covered peaks in the background. How the three days flew away, didn't realise. It was a great trip and the staff at the property were extremely courteous and polite under the guidance of Mr Sharma, a smart, young, enthusiastic manager. Would recommend to anyone willing to spend some time in the hills but without the madness of hillstations.

I stayed there for a retreat for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience, it became my home in the Himalayas. The people that work there were very kind and you have a great view of the himalayas from there.

Stayed in Windsor lodge in Ranikhet around June end.. Great Welcomeheritage heritage property. Food is nice, staff are very helpful and eager to help. The inhouse restaurant makes great tasty food and they are very fast in service. Special thanks to Rajesh Ji who is manager of this property.. He has a lot of knowledge about the places to go visit in and around Ranikhet and always eager to help whatever help you need. We had a great time and wish to go again

It's a beautiful small property with the most amazing views in Ranikhet. We stayed in one of the double rooms on the first floor . Everything is wood panelled and gives an old world charm. The staff were very helpful & courteous . The breakfast room is quaint with a fountain and a glass ceiling. Food was good. The caramel pudding and the pahari palak are a must have. They do have a spa/massage room which I couldn't try. Overall it was a very relaxing and peaceful holiday and I wish we could have stayed longer! A big thanks to Sharmaji, Madhu, the attendant in the hall and the Waiters at the dining hall..each of them made our stay special!

What to say? A very romantic property. Excellent Service and very courteous staff. Mesmerizing views of the mighty Himalayas from the balcony. We stayed in this beautiful resort from 18th to 20th June and enjoyed to the core. We enjoyed the arrangement at the lawn attached with the restaurant and the decoration of sparkling lights with soft and soothing background music which was making the entire environment lively and romantic. I must say that the selection of songs was very good. I appreciate the entire team specially Mr. Kisan who was at Housekeeping Desk, entire restaurant staff, Mr. Pan Singh and Mr. Rakesh Sharma who attended us very well. I recommend this beautiful property to all who are planning their visit to Ranikhet or near by areas. Best Wishes. Sudhir Kapoor

Our Room was We had an amazing experience in the Hotel and the courtesy Mr. Rajesh Ji General Manager of the hotel. He is amazing host and is a wonderful person in itself. He started our memorable joourney at Hotel with grand tour and elaborated history with welcome drinks and an evening High tea. The location of the hotel is the best part of the trip. We had booked 2 rooms in the Old wing on First Floor in the main building as suggested by Mr. Rajesh and we were absolutely happy and satisfied. It would be good to speak to Mr. Rajesh before booking the property. The rooms in the new wings have AC and Old wing doesnt have but you will not need it for around 10 months of the year at least. The hotel has a good restaurant and most importantly the staff is very very cooperative and helpful. The staff gives too much of importance to guest and takes care of the requirements. Mr. Rajesh is available round the clock at the hotel and gives personalised attention to every guest. The hotel has a very good housekeeping and in room dining. The decor is amazing and ample parking space is availeble.
