廚師綠洲度假別墅(The Cooks Oasis)

Onze ervaring is heel goed! We hebben heerlijke 12 dagen gehad! Een warm welkom, de goede zorgen tijdens ons verblijf en positieve vibes hebben enorm bijgedragen aan onze vakantie. Betrokken en ook super leuk met de kids! Het voelt als een little family als je daar verblijft.

First time to the Cook Islands, and we stayed at cooks oasis in a 1 bedroom villas with our 2 children. The room was idea for us, plenty of space and really convenient having a kitchenette with a big fridge and a microwave etc. Matty, Erin and Marianne were all so helpful and accomodating, we made use of the free kayaks and laundry. We loved walking down to the beach each day, the snorkelling out the front was excellent! Great food trucks are close by with good food and coffee. kids loved hanging out with a couple of the local dogs who were very friendly! Overall we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful relaxing 9-day visit to Rarotonga and highly recommend The Cooks Oasis as a great accommodation choice. The team at the Cooks Oasis (Marianne, Erin, Matty and Wise) ensured we had an excellent experience by suggesting great activities in particular, Ariimoana Walkabouts and diving with turtles with Go Local Cook Islands. We ate at some superb restaurants on their recommendations. Our villa was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the pool and seating area in between swimming in the lagoon, which was a 2-minute walk away from our villa. The tropical foliage surrounding the villas is stunning and adds to the relaxing ambience we experienced. Thank you again to the Cooks Oasis team, cheers Sharron

I arrived on island from Hawaii 4 days before my whanau arrived from NZ. I did a little research and found this gem of a hotel. Everything was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. With a little kitchenette I made my breakfast every morning, strolled along the beach, relaxed in the sun by their little plunge pool. Matt and Erin are great host, I cannot wait to return with my husband. Meitaki Ma'ata. Or in a Hawaii...A hui hou! (till we meet again)

While travelling the Cook Islands I stayed at 7 different accommodations, ranging from self-contained villas, to hotel rooms and studios. Without a doubt, The Cooks Oasis was my absolute favourite 🏝️ Matty & Erin are two of the most welcoming and warm people I have met. I was travelling alone as a young female and I felt instantly comfortable, safe and at home. They made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. They have a little brochure they give you at reception with recommendations of their favourite spots, as well as a map with places marked and the bus timetable. This was extremely helpful and thoughtful! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, styled like a true island oasis. The kitchen and bathroom have all the basics you could need. The accommodation also has a DVD library which is a really sweet touch and a laundry for guests to use. The air conditioning in the room is not overly strong, especially in the heat of the day. This did not bother me at all, however, if you are someone who struggles with heat you may want to consider this. I stayed in Villa 6 which I was very happy with it. As it was upstairs it seemed to have a bit more privacy and seclusion, than some of the ground-level ones I walked past. The Villas are all quite close to each other and one night I was kept awake by noise from neighbours who'd had one too many. Matty & Erin were very efficient in speaking with the guests and apologising to me, the issue couldn't have been dealt with better. The Cooks Oasis is a very quick, less than 1-minute walk to the beautiful beach. I found this section of the island to be the least windy and therefore the most pleasant all day!

Marty and Erin make you feel welcome the moment you walk into the place. Friendly, caring and pleased to welcome you all sets you up for a terrific stay. Nothing is too much trouble and they maintain a spotless group of cabins which just cry out ..’relax’. And you do. Fully self catering if you do that sort of thing with external BBQ area if you want. Lovely pool and chill out area adds to the ambience. A very short walk down to the beautiful lagoon and paradise is here. Can’t recommend this home from home enough. Enjoy and chill.

This was my 3rd stay at the wonderful Cooks Oasis, I just love this place! Clean, comfortable accommodation situated in beautiful gardens, a few steps away from a beach with great sunset views. Spent 2 weeks in split-level villa 5 and (after returning from Aitutaki) another 5 nights in family villa 8. Both very nice! New hosts Matty and Erin went out of their way to make our stay another fantastic experience! This is ‘service with a smile’ next level! Thanks again Matty & Erin, will definitely stay with you again if I am lucky enough to return to paradise in the future! Meitaki ma’ata!

We love this place. Matty & Erin were lovely and full of helpful information. The teenagers were very happy to find that Wi-Fi was now available. We were happy that a water filter was recently installed. We were all happy with the lovely beach only a short walk away, and the pool for cooling off in. Villa 2 had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The air-conditioning and fans kept us comfortable. Great facilities available included in your stay: laundry, BBQ, DVD library, reef shoes and snorkelling gear, and kayaks. There are restaurants withing walking distance and it is only 10 mins or so into Avarua by car. We much preferred The Cooks Oasis over a full blown resort. Hope we can make it back one day.

This was my second stay at The Cooks Oasis and I would definitely stay there again! It’s such an amazing place to relax and recharge. The owners Matty and Erin are the most warm and welcoming hosts, clearly passionate about providing the best experience to their guests. They’re fun to chat with and know the best places plus fun stuff to do. Even though it was the first time we’ve met, it felt like I’d known them for years.   The Cook Oasis is an impeccable kept little complex of villas. Our villas were spacious, bright, very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. From the also spacious balconies we enjoyed the beautiful garden, a glimpse of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. Fresh tropical fruit was waiting on our arrival, along with tea, coffee, milk and water. Filtered water and a laundry facility are available free of charge, as well as the use of snorkel gear, reef shoes and canoes. The coconut tree framed beach is only a very short walk down the path.
