斯塔維利亞海灘酒店(Stafilia Beach Hotel)

Quando siamo arrivati allo Stafilia Beach Hotel di Rodi la prima sensazione che ho provato è di non accoglienza, di rifiuto nel capire la nostra lingua e le nostre esigenze, vale a dire ormai avete pagato se non vi sta bene tornate in Italia. Un ragazzo senza voglia che ci accompagna agli alloggi, che non erano quelli segnalati da mesi, dovevano essere vicini ma erano tutt'altro. Naturalmente il ragazzo ci precede senza un un'accenno di aiuto per i bagagli. Le stanze non sembrano male, non pulitissime, diciamo accettabili anche se alla mia compagna di viaggio capita una doccia con la tenda di plastica, simile agli alloggi di basso profilo dove devi ringraziare di averla,la doccia. La sorpresa più grande si presenta a cena dove ci rechiamo affamati essendo in viaggio dalla mattina. Lo scenario è di una serie di pietanze non descrivibili, devastate dalle mosche che gli altri ospiti, al 99% stranieri per lo più tedeschi, prendono tranquillamente senza la sensazione di schifo che invece ci pervade. In seguito alle nostre rimostranze, ci servono a tavola direttamente dalla cucina, guardandoci in malo modo. La sera stessa abbiamo contattato la nostra agenzia richiedendo di rinunciare al vitto e un rimborso che ci permettesse di mangiare fuori. Niente da fare, o così o così. Nostro malgrado, abbiamo alternato le nostre cene fra quelle del Rafilia a base di mosche e cibo scadente, a cene fuori, naturalmente a nostre spese. Le pietanze fatte in gran parte di pollo e maiale, inclusa la lingua (di maiale) galleggianti in condimenti acquosi e pieni di cipolle. Inoltre i piatti e i bicchieri sono spesso rotti e sporchi, ma tranquillamente posizionati fra quelli salvabili. E la colazione? Nella maggioranza pietanze salate, wustel in brodaglia, uova di ogni genere, affettati ,i peggiori in commercio, non c'è traccia di una fetta biscottata, di un biscotto, figuriamoci di una crostata. Il tutto accompagnato dalle nostre amiche mosche, sempre con noi. Solo ed esclusivamente una pietanza dolce fatta di dolci alle mele o plumcake debitamente scongelati al momento molto spesso freddi. A volte nemmeno questa. Come in tutti gli alberghi di rispetto, anche quelli a tre stelle come questo, ho usato gli asciugamani e subito dopo li ho adagiati a terra, per poi trovarli puliti. Invece no, la donna di servizio ha pensato bene di rimetterli al loro posto (naturalmente mischiati fra quelli usati per il viso e altro .....😭😭). Sono immediatamente andata a chiedere alla reception dove la solita signora con ghigno antipatico/scostante mi mostra un avviso, scritto in tutte le lingue tranne l'italiano, che segnala il cambio degli asciugamani ogni tre giorni e della biancheria da letto ogni quattro 🤦🏻‍♀️ che dire? Gli stessi asciugamani sono pieni di buchi, macchiati qua e là così come le lenzuola. Insomma vacanza da dimenticare, si salva il mare bellissimo in tutta l'isola, ma le lacune inaccettabili rendono vano anche questo, anche se è l'unico elemento che ci ha r

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, direkt vom Pool ins Meer und umgekehrt. Wer keine 5 Sterne-Riesenanlage benötigt, Ruhe ohne tägliche Animation mag ist hier richtig. Die im Vergleich kleine Anlage wirkt nie überfüllt. Hoteleigene Liegen am Strand und Pool findet man immer und sie sind kostenlos. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. An der Poolbar gibt es Snacks und kühle Getränke sowie auch Menüs gegen Bezahlung. Die Halbpension bietet ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und Abends findet am Buffet eigentlich jeder etwas für sich. Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber, modern mit großem Bad, Sat-TV, großen Kühlschrank, Balkon oder Terrasse. Im direkten Umfeld gibt es allerdings wenig Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, ein Mietwagen ist ratsam!

Stafilia-Beach-Hotel liegt direkt am Meer ( steiniger Kiesstrand: Badeschuhe !! ) . Die Hotelmitarbeiter(innen) sind ausgesprochen sympathisch, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit - angefangen von Xenia und Michael in der Rezeption, ueber Maxim, den Koch - bis hin zum Bedienungs- und Reinigungspersonal . Die Hotelzimmer sind gross, sauber, mit Balkon, Tisch, Stuehlen, grossem Kuehlschrank und Haartrockner versehen. Das Fruehstueck ist einfach, geringe Auswahl - und von daher : verbesserungswuerdig ! Das Abendessen ( bei Halbpension ) besteht aus leckerer, frischer Hausmannskost . - In unmittelbarer Naehe ( 2 Minuten zu Fuss ) liegt "Sabina's Watersport"-Station, wo Sabine und Roland eine grosse Auswahl an Wassersportaktivitaeten anbieten - sehr empfehlenswert !

The best thing that we could say is that the rooms are clean. The kitchen is below our expectations. The foods are swimming in oil, and they are very poorly flavoured. There are no signs to tell you what you will eat/can choose from. We also saw the cook, who was really dirty, that’s not the thing how you expect a cook to be. And there are flys everywhere, it’s just terrible. The staff is however very kind and cheerful, which is nice. I would not recommend - there are places with similar pricing that offer better food or just go for accomodation because the location is nice with the see just 1 minute from your room but don’t book half board. We ate out at Stefanos (10min car ride) and that was the food we expect on Greece to be. The beach is nice.

Stafilia Beach Hotel is absolutely lovely place and one can feel like at home! Starting from the reception with the lovely ladies that welcome you with a smile and are always super helpful if one needs anything. The restaurant is very good, it has a great buffet also for vegetarians with a lot of vegetables and the staff is super nice and they make sure everyone is feeling welcome. The garden of Stafilia Beach Hotel is nice and green, full with fruit trees and other plants which the gardener and all around good guy is looking after and last but not least the cleaning angels that keep this place very clean and tidy are doing an amzing job. A place many people keep returning to because it is a small cosy hotel right at the beachfront - a holiday home away from home!

Although the hotel is designated as a three-star hotel, it does not meet the 2020-2025 essential criteria set by the Hotelstars Union, a partnership to which Greece is a signatory. The crucial criteria that the hotel staff, service, and pieces of equipment don't meet are: The team doesn't have uniforms or suitable clothing (The bartenders wear uniform aprons from under which "modern" ripped jeans look entirely out of place). There are no identification badges (except for the daily receptionist). The wait staff is rude and incompetent regarding soft skills and attitude towards guests. There is no laundry or ironing service, No linen shelves in wardrobes, No accessible power socket near the mirror in the bathroom, no storage surface, no toothbrush tumbler, No body wash or shower gel at the shower, no shampoo, no facial tissues, The hotel does not have a website, pencils, notepads, or any printed or digital information about the surrounding area. The above listed are the minimum criteria a three-star hotel must meet. The safe and air-conditioning are only available for a fee, The overall impression of the hotel is medium. The rooms are clean. It is also quite unusual that a hotel guest has to pay a tourist tax in advance for the time he booked a space. What if something happens and he doesn't stay, e.g., healthy issues in the hotel? The owners can quickly rectify technical and material issues. What is more challenging is the staff, who will need to attend more training and education for the hotel to justify a three-star standard.

Me and my two friends were visiting for 4 nights and 4 days recently from 28th July til 1st August - the visit was so much better than expected. Firstly, a big thank you to Joanna, Michael, Chris, Dennis, Sienna and Yannis, they were the absolute best at making us feel welcome and recommending great things and places for us to visit. The beach was within a very convenient walking distance and the Sabina Water sports was a very good time, we went for cliff diving and enjoyed the boat ride in general. Another person i want to thank is Phillip who runs the near by super market (stafilia beach supermarket) he provided a lot of insight into the local area and the different activities we could also do. He is going to open up his café next door to his shop so hopefully on the next visit we will be able to try that out!

Sorry to be one of those people….. BUT I checked in to a lateral sea view room last night. Firstly I can see a postage stamp of the sea it’s not a front facing sea room at all it’s a room that over looks the rest of the hotel and the front of the room is in the car park! And above reception! I slept terribly not only due to the heat as air con is an extra charge! But the noise of the bin men at early hours and being so close to reception I can hear people checking in and out! I went to complain this morning which the man who checked me in said to ask if I can move to the sea room view but there was no rooms available. I stated I was going to leave a bad review on trip advisor in hoping they would be able to offer me something else or maybe even give me the aircon for free but no such luck! She was happy for me to write a bad review on here! I will not be returning and am looking at other hotels to stay. I haven’t looked at any other facilities here.

Points positifs : propreté de l'hôtel Personnel sympathique Points négatifs : J'ai dû payer 8 euros par jour pour avoir la climatisation à mon arrivée alors que c'était compris dans l'offre Pas de wifi dans l'hôtel (compris aussi dans l'offre) sauf à la piscine Nourriture de cantine , produits de basse qualité Aucune aide pour porter ma grosse valise à mon arrivée et pas non plus lors de mon départ alors que j'avais fait la demande à la reception .
