温哥華機場酒店(Vancouver B.C. Airport Hotel)

I booked at this hotel because they had a shuttle to/from the airport but when it didn't show up to pick us up at the airport, I had to phone the hotel to find out that the shuttle service had ceased 15 minutes before we got there! Got to the hotel by taxi and there was a sign in the window saying No Vacancies and the door was locked. I had to bang on the window to be let in. Needless to say - I was not in a good mood during registration.

We were not at the ramada, as they have ukrainian refugees staying that required us to be transferred to Pacific gateway at yvr. They are under construction so no pool, no food other than take out, and that's limited. No vending machines either, all removed for construction. Room was ok, coffee machine weird.

We were in Vancouver for a cruise. I like the fact they picked us up at the airport. The price was right. Hotels near the cruise terminal ere very expensive. Though this was a bit far from the cruise terminal, we walked 2 blocks to the Skyway station and took it to the terminal. Cheap, fast, and efficient and literally leaves you a block from the ship. The room was nice, very clean, even had a balcony overlooking the street. Lots of dining options in walking distance. The only down side was the 'free" breakfast. You get what you pay for. Absolutely the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep and have a free breakfast the following day then this is your hotel. The beds are good enough to compare with the nicer hotels I stayed with. When traveling on a budget a nice comfy and clean bed is all you need and they have that.

The rooms were updated and very clean. Lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice that they were housing and feeding many displaced Ukranian refugees! The lobby and entryway needed updating. Nice stay.

Very kind and competent woman at the front desk for check in. Free shuttle to and from airport, free breakfast. Older building, but the interior public spaces and rooms have been tastefully updated. We requested a ‘garden-view” room and got a 4th floor room with a balcony overlooking the trees behind Minoru Park. We were very satisfied with our overnight stay here.

We did not end up staying here. Our flight was a late night flight. We had a group of 14 and we came for our shuttle. After arriving at the hotel to cycle in n we were then told they overbooked us. Finally the desk person told us that was not actually the case. Our rooms that we booked months ago were given to Ukranian refugees. We were told they arranged for us to stay at Travelodge which we then had to taxi over to. Some in the group were then charged for both hotels. It was a terrible start to our trip. I felt really bad for the desk lady. She took the brunt of what the hotel owner should have dealt with.
