Shiv Shakti Hostel in Lax*** Jhula, Rishikesh, offers a satisfying and comfortable stay. Easy check-in, undisturbed sleep, clean and beautiful building with common areas and rooftop cafe. Tasty food, especially pizza, sandwiches, and tea. Commendable staff behavior, especially Mr. Abhay and Abhi at the cafe. Washrooms are clean but need a dustbin, toilet paper, and hangers. They have a nice staff. Very nice room. Great AC and TV services. The room had a good toilet and very big comfortable bed. I stayed very comfortably. Very silent atmosphere. They were quite flexible when I asked them to stay in the room extra time.

Almost no room service. AC was not functioning at all. Check in was delayed due to room unavailability of room. HORRIBLE STAY as I stayed with my senior citizen parents.View is good from the room. Thanks.

Overall the place was neat and clean. Staff was very respectful, especially the Receptionist who suggest us places to visit nearby. Overall good experience. Nothing bad, beds and pillow was neat and clear. AC working absolutely fine.

Out room was very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfy and we had a nice bathroom. the staff were very helpful with taxis and also very welcoming to us. Thank you for a great stay! Location was also very nice as it’s near the river and shops.

Room was clean, staff was helpful, perfect location, plenty of hot water! I’ve stayed at hostels more expensive than this on the Laksh*** Jhula stretch and they all have their own fancy gimmicks but struggle to get the bare essentials right, this place goes above and beyond and for a great price too. Do note that they are currently doing some construction work to improve the hostel, but they keep their working hours to a respectable time so the noise is never bothering. Nights are quiet. This is where I’ll be looking first from here on out!

I have booked the double deluxe room but they have made me stayed in the standard room which was not as expected, it did not look like a double deluxe room. WIFI range was not coming to my room so I was unable to use that and most of the time it was not working. The room was not spacious as I had thought. One of the staff member named ajay took 600 Rs from my for the early check-in. Never recommended to anyone.
