everything was great! but the spa was closed

درة هو أسوأ فندق في السعودية. رأيت مقالاً يقول إن درة هو أفقر فندق في المملكة العربية السعودية. يتقاضى الموظفون رواتب أقل دخل. ولا يوجد مسحوق حليب في الفندق بأكمله. لا توجد صناديق مناديل. لا ماء. لا توجد أنشطة. لا تذهب إلى هنا أبدًا ، فسوف تندم على الأموال التي دفعتها. Durrat is the worst hotel in Saudi. I saw an article that it said Durrat is the poorest hotel in Saudi Arabia. Staff get paid the lowest income. And there is no milk powder in the whole hotel. No tissue boxes. No water. No activities. Don't ever go here you will regret the money you paid.

The spa's ambience was nothing short of magical, with soft lighting, soothing music, and an enchanting scent that instantly transported us to a world of tranquility. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel like royalty throughout our entire visit.

Splendid resort . A place for the whole family to spend holidays . The minute you enter the resort you have been taken care of. Not only family but they also have a ladies day pool pass for only ladies every Tuesday morning and Wednesday night . They have an exceptional professional team and caretakers around to take care of kids . They have a game room for kids then they also have a kids center where there is a mini movie theatre, Lego play and other indoor games . Next to the game room is a small play area for little kids for outdoor play.. Talking about indulging, they have separate pools and spas for men and women . Another attraction is the mini golf . We had a great time …

“We stayed at Durat Resort for three nights in September 2022. What an amazing hotel. We were greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. Wonderful place to stay, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite the fact that if you want to, you can spend time outside there fantastic outdoor view.

For the same price, you can book your stay in better hotels. LOCATION: i actually liked the location. Far away from the city center, air quality is better FOOD: Breakfast buffet also not bad. The staff there were all nice RECEPTION: Not good. My son had a fever and i had to go buy medicine. I was able to find a pharmacy in google maps but it was 20mins away. I didn't mind the distance, it's just that if there was a nearer pharmacy, it would have been better. So i asked for directions from the front desk, they just said GO STRAIGHT AND TURN RIGHT AT THE MOSQUE. Long story short, i got lost, and ended up going where google maps was telling me to go. I didnt expect the hotel to have meds, but at least they could have given proper directions. ROOM. The room was nice. Smaller than the same type of room i booked at Marriott 1 month ago. The balcony was a nice touch. There was only 1 pair of bathroom slippers, only 2 bath towels, and a lot more missing. I called reception, still it wasn't topped up. I booked the room for 4 persons. After the 1st call i didnt bother asking anymore. I didnt want to ruin my stay because of the litltle things. POOL. It was free from debris. My wife and kids went for a swim in the afternoon, and had skin itchiness on the same night, and went away after thorough rinsing. Next morning we went for a walk and saw ducks swimming in the same pool. POND. The hotel had a nice big pond and waterfalls. Great for picture taking. Bad for the swimmers in the pool, same ducks in the pond go swim in the pool when nobody's watching.

Many services are not available due to maintenance and renovation work, there is disturbance due to the sound of equipment, and the service from the hotel staff is not at a good level. It was a not good experience.

Everything was good except the breakfast was for 3 stars. Also the shampoo and soap was very cheap for 5stats hotel.
