羅馬 G 羅浮旅館 - 設計酒店會員(G-Rough, Rome, a Member of Design Hotels)

I have stayed at this property a number of times…there is a new management team in place making the place feel very unsafe and like its their own personal party pad. Like many other recent reviews, the management can’t be trusted - they lie, have their friends running all over the hotel throughout the day and night…its just not a place to stay and feel safe. We were given a room on the first floor…directly above the bar. The is no acoustic separation so the sounds of the bar are directly in your bedroom. When I asked the hotel management to turn down the noise…they literally turned the volume up, smiled and walked back to the party with his friends - crazy!! It’s a shame because this used to be a great hotel…now it simply not a safe place to stay in Rome. I would stay at the St. Regis instead.

I went to the bar, not the hotel — but the female bartender working august 26th at 8:30pm was extremely rude and it really tainted our experience. However, we did go next store and felt very welcome, so it is definitely this one bar and not the area. So I would definitely recommend the area just not this specific spot due to poor customer service.

I really wanted to like this hotel/ love the design ideas etc but it seems recently from other reviews they're slipping in their standards and I would have to actively recommend people to stay ANYWHERE but here. EVERYTHING was wrong with this hotel from cleanliness, honesty, staff attitude, etc etc that I honestly don't know where to begin. Suffice to say they are NOT a luxury hotel. It wasn't worth it for the following reasons: 1) Too expensive: Once you read everything below this point will be self-explanatory. 2) Unclean/ plumbing issues: The toilet was leaking water on the floor when we arrived making the entire place reek of urine- I didn't notice the puddle because of inadequate bathroom lighting, stepped in it, went to wash my feet immediately and attached to my foot was a long dark hair that was definitely not mine. 3) Extremely noisy: I still wanted to like to hotel but as I was washing my foot I heard the loudest thuds/ stomps etc above my head. There is absolutely no soundproofing between the floors. I have been in many old buildings but this was unlike anything I've ever heard before. We go to reception and mention the toilet needed resealing and to ask the upstairs guests to not - erm- play sports in their room. To the hotel's credit the plumbing situation was rectified immediately. 4) Room phones don't work: When we got back to our room the thuds above our head were louder. If I can upload the video of the ceiling I would- it was making my heart race it was so bad. We heard these noises for an hour and a half - I tried using the phone to call reception to ask them to talk to the guests but the phone doesn't work so we tell reception on our way out to dinner around 7:30pm. It was so bad when we told them I was almost to the point of tears. 5) Noises persisting: When we arrive back -after midnight- the noises are still persisting! We waited twenty minutes to see if they would stop- they didn't- so my boyfriend tried to talk to the guests (the didn't answer their door) so he angrily went to talk to reception - they finally quieted down. 6) Awful breakfast (see point 11 for more details): The next morning we went down for the included breakfast and I found it mediocre at best (only boiled eggs included??) but I was hungry and at it, my boyfriend found it disgusting except the orange juice so he didn't touch his. When you select the 'fruit' option for reference, you get bruised, almost rotten whole fruit- they don't even bother to cut it up for you. 7) Awful customer service: My boyfriend wanted to leave that day but we only had two more nights of our trip so I spoke to the hotel reception to see what could be done. They said the family above us were leaving tomorrow so we could move to a top room tonight then move to another room the next night. They said they're not a family hotel for this reason (... then why let a family stay? ... why not put in acoustic underlay between the floors?

Estábamos en Roma de vacaciones, paramos a tomar un aperol spritz en la terraza de lo que parecía un bar y nos clavaron 15 euros por cada aperol spritz, me he sentido atarcado por lo que creo que es un precio demasiado alto.

Al bar , siamo soli e chiediamo un drink con poco ghiaccio. Dopo 5 minuti viene servito il drink con tantissimo ghiacco. Cosi il drink diventa un povero drink al di sotto della ricetta standard dell’amoricano €15😱😱. Lo staff ha poca memoria ed non importa nulla all’ospite… guarda il telefono al momento che scegliamo il nostro drink. Peccato. Posto bello.

A pochi passi da pizza Navona, locale fresco che serve solo colazioni . Una sosta piacevole dove tornerei sicuramente per degustare una deliziosa pausa mattutina e pomeridiana . I croissant avevano una bellissima faccia

Great location, but for 470 euros a night I expect more. The « suite »took me back to my student lodgings, the furniture looked as though it came from a flea market. I felt that every effort had been made to make it uncomfortable . The bar/breakfast area was dark and cramped. The staff were friendly.

I would describe this place as budget hostel meets college dormitory, with all the comforts of a prison cell. At over €700 per night, we were basically robbed. When we told them it was our honeymoon, they basically just charged us more for the same room, taking advantage of the fact that we wanted to make it a special trip and get a nice room. Jokes on us! The bathrooms are dirty, tiny and old. Not charming old, just grimy looking, with visible dirt and dust. Starting at 3 am you will hear all sorts of loud noises coming from within the building. Every footstep from the room above, the guy in the room next to you running the sink. This place has all the structural integrity of a meth lab. As if this didn’t make sleeping difficult enough, the 2 sheets on your bed are the scratchy linen version of single ply toilet paper. The elevator looks like it’s from 1970, the towels and robes are thin and worn out, the coffee machine is dirty, the phone doesn’t work. Oh but they give you 2 bottles of water each day. Although one of ours today was half empty. The location is excellent, but I don’t think you could find a worse value for your money.
