浴室有股怪味，排氣扇積滿灰塵好幾年了。照片裡的體驗和我們實際的體驗完全不一樣。旅館不提供早餐；他們給了我們一張優惠券，並推薦了兩家餐廳。選擇非常有限，而且今天是星期天，其中一家餐廳關門了。我們唯一的選擇就是羊角麵包、一杯熱飲、果汁和一片吐司。

La camera è carina, la posizione ottima vicino al lungotevere, il bar della colazione caratteristico. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il condizionatore, non raffreddava, muoveva solo l' aria, con il risultato che in camera faceva caldo. Poiché l'host aveva comunicato di contattarlo per qualsiasi cosa, gli abbiamo mandato un messaggio su WhatsApp anche se era tardi, chiedendo se sbagliavamo qualcosa. Ci ha risposto subito e ha detto che il condizionamento funzionava sicuramente e ci ha suggerito cosa fare, ma noi avevamo già provato tutto quanto comunicato, prima di disturbarlo, abbiamo anche noi i condizionatori in casa. Abbiamo inviato foto e video, dove si vedevano le impostazioni e a quanto era impostata la temperatura (a 19 gradi, che avrebbero dovuto esserci i pinguini, invece faceva caldo), ma nonostante ciò l'atteggiamento è stato come se fosse impossibile che non funzionasse il condizionatore perché nessuno prima glielo aveva segnalato, e fossimo noi degli incapaci. È stato davvero fastidioso (chiedere "per voi è un grande problema o non è cosi grande?" è proprio inopportuno!), sarebbe bastato prendere in considerazione la possibilità di un guasto e scusarsi.

Our trip to Rome was wonderful! (January 16–21) A major part of this experience was the room we booked for five nights at Ripense in Trastevere. We found it by chance on Booking. Our room was a triple (it can also be converted into a quadruple) and it was room number 4. It was very clean, recently renovated, modern, almost brand new, pleasant, and spacious. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of wardrobes—four in total, one in each corner. One of them includes a small fridge and an espresso coffee machine with free coffee capsules. The window overlooks Ripense Street, with a view of the Tiber River to the left. The room has radiator heating (there is also air conditioning) and it is very quiet. Breakfast is Italian-style and includes free coffee, juice, a croissant of your choice, and toasted bread with butter or jam. Breakfast is served at two nearby cafés in the area (about 30–40 meters from the room). Security is excellent: access to the building is via a link, while entry to the main door and the room doors is with a code. Filippo, the property manager, is young, polite, and very discreet. He arranged a taxi for me from Fiumicino Airport to the accommodation and back (highly recommended), which saved me a lot of time. The location is ideal, as you can walk to all the major landmarks of Rome: the Colosseum (20 minutes), Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the Vatican (about 30 minutes).
