I liked it in general. But you need to be prepared to use the public transit system if you are a tourist, and not taxis. Taxis into the parts of rome most people visit are in the €25-30 range. Getting a taxi back at night is complicated because some drivers will turn you down. One had to call and verify the address and how to get there. Conveniently, there is a bus stop about three blocks up. Buying tickets is easy. You can stop in at any tobaccoist, but you're better off getting them at a self service machine using coins. Then validate it when you get in the bus using the yellow machine even though no one else does. It's crucial. If you stay here, this is the key to enjoying rome. Otherwise, transportation is cost prohibitive. My only other issue is that the fan didn't cool the room sufficiently. Otherwise the staff was kind, the grounds were lovely and quiet, and I enjoyed that the building was once a convent. It died the purpose of my visit well. As a side note: if you book through priceline, don't be surprised when you aren't charged up front anyway and the booking still goes to them through ***********. it led to a great deal of confusion.
