Not much in the hotel, it was nice enough. 15/20 minute walk to the station. Not much around.

Arrived after midnight and left by 9am. So here is what i obseved. The guy at check in was pretty decent. Room a bit dated and was freezing cold, could almost see my breath. Headboard was loose and knocked if you slept near it. Room walls must be thin as you could hear next door, the Brekkie was fine.

El hotel para ver Edimburgo perfecto. La habitacion era moderna. Entraba aire frío por la ventana pero tenia calefaccion. La habitacion estaba en el 1° piso (sin ascensor). Desayuno buffet bastante decepcionante, poca variedad y calidad nefasta. Gran parking vigilado delante del hotel. Parada de bus en las cercanias X55 para edimburgo. Al lado del hotel hay una tienda de comida rapida, que siempre tiene gente y muy muy barato de precio, merece mucho la pena si no quieres cenar en edimburgo u asi.

Really excellent place to stop on often gruelling long drives! Staff very friendly, whole place - rooms, public areas, bathrooms - very clean, and parking nice and easy. Also very easy to find the hotel. Comfy, clean bed. ONLY issue is the thin walls: I was lucky, as the room next to me turned off their TV just as I was about to go to bed, but I can see it might be an issue sometimes. Limited options for vegans, but the breakfast offered was nonetheless pretty good. Great value, clean & friendly place overall :)

Very helpful staff. Forget something at the hotel and staff was quick to find it and facilitate the return. Facilities are fairly basic but clean. Only issue was noise. Room doors are auto closing but slam shut. Could also hear a lot of noise was other rooms, music, tv, talking. Good value for money though!
