紅衣教主酒店(Hotel Cardinal)

un hôtel idéalement situé à côté de la Cathédrale, des chambres spacieuses et fonctionnelles, très propres. l'ascenseur s'arrête au quatrième étage et ne va pas au 5eme, de plus il est très petit. le personnel est accueillant et professionnel et à l'écoute. le petit déjeuner peut être un peu cher pour ce qu'il offre. petit hic il y fait très chaud lors des périodes "caniculaires" pas de parking mais des parkings publics à proximité (payant comme partout dans la ville)

La struttura si trova in centro città in posizione strategica. Pochi giorni prima del nostro arrivo a Rouen, mentre eravamo in vacanza all'estero, la prenotazione è stata disdettata dall’hotel causa COVID come da comunicazione pervenuta tramite Booking. Il giorno del nostro arrivo in città la struttura funzionava però regolarmente; il giorno seguente una cortese dipendente mi ha fatto visionare una stanza su internet, non potendomene far vedere una direttamente in quanto tutte le camere erano, a suo dire, occupate.

El desayuno fue un poco escaso y no muy variado para el precio que tiene la situacion es magnifica en la misma que la catedral y los alrededores la accesibilidad en coche es muy buena, aunque este en zona restringuida

Toujours une bonne adresse au coeur de Rouen

Marvelous location! Stunning sunny corner room with view of the plaza and Cathedral. (But also steel shutters if you want to sleep in.) Spotlessly clean. Lovely, reasonably priced breakfast in a very stylish, cozy breakfast room. (Note that this is an onsite, hands-on owner operated business, so there is a very personal feel, but you may need to call the number posted on the front door to be admitted. The owner made us feel like honored houseguests.) I will be back.

To be able to open the curtains in my room and see the famous cathedral framed by the window was an experience that can't be beat. The room was simple but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice shower and towels. The door is usually locked unless someone is actually at the desk. You will receive a PIN for the keypad so you can come and go easily. The location is fantastic, and one can walk for hours along the cobblestone streets and alleys exploring markets and shops.

Wonderful location. Very nice accomdation. Only caveat is the difficulty getting our luggage from our car to the hotel as there is no real parking for the hotel (it's located on the central cathedral plaza). Maybe the hotel could figure out a way to accomodate travelers with luggage and let them know in advance what their options are?

Hotel Cardinal was a perfect hotel for us. It is lovingly cared for by the owner who does the cleaning herself. The rooms are very nicely appointed and most have a direct view of the Rouen Cathedrale that cannot be beat. Breakfast offers a variety of fresh foods in a pretty little room with lovely stained glass windows. If we are ever in Rouen we would ONLY stay here!
