伯靈頓酒店(Burlington Hotel)

這一定是我自80 年代以來去過的最糟糕的酒店。如果你幸運的話，房間還可以。床很差是當時最糟糕的一點。但我的房間沒有熱水。幸運的是，我的朋友們住在一個不錯的房間裡，我去那裡洗澡。早餐很好。你坐在吐司機後面已經讓我熱汗四天了。然而晚餐很糟糕。它可以吃，但僅此而已。期待學校的晚餐，這差不多了。我認為廚房是一個溫暖的地方。一切都只是懶惰。預先乳蛋餅、罐頭湯..罐頭金槍魚..布丁是最好的東西。工作人員很好。我認為有時會對菜單和他們提供的服務感到尷尬。

十月初我住在這家飯店，我們是搭長途巴士來的。我們等待預訂時被告知坐下來等待，因為我們的房間很混亂。我們都是殘疾女士，我們預訂了一間雙床房。在他們預訂了我們教練上的其餘人員後，他們來找我們並說他們沒有為我們安排房間。然後他們為我們每人提供了一間雙人房，但一間在樓上，飯店沒有電梯，所以我們無法接受。接待處有一位先生說他們可以給57號房間。我明天可以完成灌漿。好吧，說這個房間很小是輕描淡寫的。我們有 10 英吋的時間嘗試到達床鋪。房間角落潮濕，沒有暖氣。我們不得不要一個加熱器。淋浴間沒有熱水，淋浴間沒有關上。當我要求他們查看熱水時，接待員說先打開熱水龍頭以增加淋浴的壓力。公平地說，他們完全毀了我們的假期。接待員非常唐突。我也有照片來展示這一切。

不錯的飯店，靠近海邊，房間乾淨舒適。可惜晚上的飯菜太糟糕了。早餐無可挑剔。但今晚的湯很噁心。主菜剛從冷凍中煮熟。便宜的麵包屑冷凍魚。不值 30 英鎊的 3 道菜餐！但除此之外，住得很愉快

我們剛結束 4 天的長途旅行假期。我們被分配到了47號房間，我們睡了一個糟糕的夜晚，床吱吱作響，凹凸不平，簡直太糟糕了。房間很冷，淋浴的水溫熱。我們抱怨並要求搬家，公平地說他們確實這麼做了。床好多了，但仍然不舒服……當我們與其他乘客討論這個問題時，他們對床、淋浴和冷藏室也有同樣的抱怨，我們有一個鍍鉻毛巾架，從來沒有變熱過。工作人員很可愛，食物還可以，而且很豐富，我們的長途汽車司機丹尼非常棒。我建議提供床鋪，讓客人感到舒適。我想有些客人會抱怨

walking into the room it looks very nice then it hits you only one double plug in the room and no USB charging points so while charging your phones dont expect to make a cup of tea lol then there was the shower it is very poor the shower pressure like stop and start poor but appart from that the meals were great the breakfasts were great plenty of choise and you aint far from the town and the beach with the prominade so if they fixed these problems i would give them a five star but overall very good value for money

The outside of the hotel is very smart and welcoming and so is the reception area. The website states the hotel has been refurbished. When I checked into my room I was shocked at the state of the furniture which was all grey and chipped and not very clean, the wardrobe door also needed attention. I gave the draws a quick clean out before placing my clothes inside. (I did not inform reception about my room.) The bathroom suite was the old fashioned green shade and the toilet seat was full of chipped paint. The shower had rust on it and the water pressure from the shower was very poor and I was unable to get hot water from the shower. I asked the lovely lady on reception about my shower and she informed me that the pressure was low and that I had to run my hot tap in the sink and then this would give me hot water in my shower.I did this and there was a little improvement but I gave up having a shower for the weekend break. At least I had hot water in the sink. My room was warm and my bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The quiet lounge area is a space in the corridor, which must get busy on times as people pass through it. I enjoyed the evening entertainment. The hotel uses cash and the minimum card purchase is £10.00, so I had to find a cash machine as unfortunatly I have got into the habit of using my card at all times. So now this has made me more prepared with holidays and taking cash. Breakfast is well laid out with two stations for toast and drinks. The hot food buffet was replenished when required and the choice was good, but I wasnt sure about the scambled eggs as they tasted bland and were nearly white in colour. The coffee machine was great. The evening menu choice was posted up in reception with the weeks menus on display. As I am a vegetarian there was a good choice for me. The portion size was huge for the main meal and well presented and the salads were well prepared. I did ask for fresh fruit one evening as I dont like tinned fruit and I had an orange which was neatly slice for me. I appreciated this. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and kind, especially the waiting staff in the dining room. They worked very hard.

Staff are amazing, for what you pay you can’t ask for anything more, food was good and plentiful, choice of evening meals and buffet breakfast, good entertainment, rooms clean and well kept, nice choice of drinks. Within short walk of seafront and high street,

Nice hotel in good location, just a minute walk from Beach & High street. Breakfast lush , Dinner not bad, bingo & entertainment every night. Comfortable Beds, large rooms. Sandown a bit run down these days, but a lot of building work going on, so maybe a couple of years will be good again. Lots of good places to visit on IOW.

Great value for money. Friendly staff, clean warm rooms. Very high quality food served every day with the best breakfast you could wish for. Entertainment most nights with a reduced price bar. Excellent !!!! I'mSandown, unfortunately, needs some work.
