I travel with 2 small dogs, so part of my experience is based on how easy and comfortable the room is with them. If the hotel markets itself as pet friendly I expect certain things for them as well as comfort and cleanliness for myself.I was very disappointed at the appearance of the hotel upon arrival. It's old and not appealing. It's just one big parking lot and when I arrived it looked like a homeless population lived there, gathered in the back corner of the parking lot. People.walkimg along the rr tracks yelling. There is no place to take the dogs to do their business, just the parking lot. They put me upstairs which meant everytime I needed to take the dogs out I had to march them down hallways and up and down stairs out to a parking lot that didn't feel totally safe. The room was very small and not totally clean. You could hear the hallway talk all day into the night.. The maids with very loud voices among other things.Doors slamming. The breakfast consisted of bread a toaster, little.muffins, dry cereal and pre made waffles. The positives where ..the bed was comfortable, the water was hot for a bath, the TV was the biggest one I've ever seen in a room but not good channels. The floors did not have carpet ( which is good for.people.with pets), There are two gas stations as you leave so it's easy to fill up and easy access back onto I5.. It wasn't all bad but it wasn't good either.
