Nice place I was here to rest one night no complain

There were ants in the room, shoes under the bed from a previous guest, the bed skirt was stained, only 1 of the 3 power outlets that was in between the beds worked, the property was tatered and not in good condition (peeling wall paper, stained walk way areas). Will not stay again.

I told the front desk clerk that I had a certified support animal when I checked in. Per this hotels listing, support animals do not incur any extra charges. On my THIRD day there I received a call from the manager informing me that I am being charged an additional $100 because I was assigned a room that was not pet friendly. What?? I was ASSIGNED that room and was already there THREE days and then charged. This place discrimates against people with disabilities, plain and simple. I was told that even Certified support animals are NOT welcome without a $100 fee to disinfect the room. My pup does NOT shed, left no messes in the room, was quiet and no one was bothered by him. I am in the process of disputing this charge and have contacted an ADA Attorney and will be pressing charges against this owner. I had selected this hotel because of the lowest price in the area and it turned into the most expensive place in the area. I was on a budget and this man had no empathy for me as a person. Also, my room was not cleaned once while I was there, the people in the room next to me were smoking pot and the smell seeped into the hallway and apparently that was allowed. I will NEVER STAY in a Choice Hotel Property ever again!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed one evening before an event in town. Got a call later in the day after we checked out, telling us we had stolen a “wall charger” and would be charged $25. Staff was unable to describe the charger, we looked through our belongings in case we accidentally took something that wasn’t ours, did not find anything. Staff told me “that was your screw up, not ours”, and regardless of not finding anything we had mistakenly taken, charged us for it.

Took us almost two hours to check in because the staff was in a room watching tv. We and several other guests were waiting needing assistance and could not get any. The room was dingy and our hall smelled like mold. The laundry facilities were poorly kept and dirty. Breakfast was bare minimum with cereal and off brand yogurt as the only real options. Would not stay again even though it’s cheaper than some other hotels in the area. It’s worth the extra few dollars to go elsewhere.

Our check-in for the group was chaotic, the cleanliness of hallways and the lobby was poor, and the breakfast was not good at all. They ran out of basically all food options.
