阿爾布瓦貝特斯酒店(Hotel Arbois Bettex)

Je suis venu pour la première fois au Bettex en 1963, la je cmapais dans un pré avec des copains. Ensuite j'ai utilisé le chalet du CAF du Mont d'Arbois et plus récemment l'Hotel Arbois Bettex. Dans toutes ces expériences j'ai été sensible à la magie du lieu. Et la nouvelle euqpe d el(Arbois Bettex a bien réussi a préserver cette magie.

Face à une des plus belles vues du monde, j'ai réalisé mon rêve de petite fille, retourner dans cet hôtel et restaurant, mythiques de mon enfance. Certe le lieu a vieilli (comme moi 😄) et n'est plus aussi confortable...mauvaise isolation , salle de bain et chambre petites, couloir triste , fenêtres d'une autre époque etc... Un hôtel vintage des années 90 mais qui n'a en aucun cas perdu de son charme et dans lequel on se sent bien car les personnes qui s'occupent du ménage sont aux petits soins et c'est impeccable ! Clémentine et sa petite équipe font le maximum pour redonner au lieu son âme d'autrefois mais pour qu'un hôtel de cette taille soit à la hauteur de son panorama on sent un terrible manque de moyens que ce soit financier ou humain! Séjour inoubliable malgré des petits couacs car authentique et sympathique ! Se sentir bien quelque part même si tout n'est pas parfait ça n'a pas de prix ! Muriel

Hôtel avec vue à couper le souffle ! Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins. On se sent bien accueilli ! Chambre avec balcon et vue sur le Mont-Blanc et la piscine. L’hôtel dispose même d’un sauna, parfait pour me relaxer après une journée à vélo. Certes l’hôtel n’est pas le plus design mais il est chaleureux et on s’y retrouve largement dans le rapport qualité prix ! J’ai déjeuné et dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel, les pizzas sont excellentes. Quelle surprise de déguster de vraies pizzas italiennes en altitude ! La pâte est incroyable, chaque ingrédient a été scrupuleusement sélectionné pour sa qualité 😍 Des Menus italiens sont désormais proposé à la carte, je me suis régalée au diner ! Je reviendrais pour déguster la Parmigiana ! Un grand merci à Gaëlle, Clem et toute l’équipe pour votre accueil

Belle surprise que de découvrir cet hôtel tout près des pistes et des télécabines. Vraiment pratique cette proximité aux pieds des magasins de locations, de l'école de ski et des pistes. Autre bon point, la vue ! Un régal pour les yeux. A noter aussi le sauna tout neuf pour se délasser après une journée sportive. Top ! Hélas cet hôtel mérite d'être dépoussiéré, lifté. Les détails sont négligés et c'est vraiment dommage. Un rafraîchissement de l'établissement est vivement recommandé comme un bon coup de peinture et un travail de rénovation en menuiserie qui apporterait un mieux. Niveau insonorisation aussi : on entend sans cesse les portes qui claquent, le simple vitrage des fenêtres vibre au son du DJ qui mixe près de la piscine.. Soigner les détails aussi en remplaçant les ampoules grillées dans la salle de bains déjà surannée et ajouter un gobelet sur le lavabo , etc .. Niveau propreté, les femmes de ménage font un travail admirable. Tout comme le personnel du restaurant qui ne ménage pas ses efforts en étant aux petit soins pour ses clients. C'est vraiment dommage de laisser cet hôtel en l'état car c'est un véritable joyaux qui ne demande qu'à briller.

Located right at the ski piste (exit of lift coming from St.Gervais and start of lift to the top). Parking available 200m from hotel but ask code to enter the restricted area AND code to enter hotel parking. It is a 200m haul up some stairs to the entrance of the hotel. Directions to the actual hotel not well indicated. (and name is actually not visible at the door). Young lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Run by the same owner, but different manager, the restaurant and terrace service were a mess. The terrace is massive and was covered with cups, plates, garbage during the day. The restaurant service was very slow, and confused (we had 2 wrong dishes served, came twice with the same drinks, billing was confused - they kept forgetting we were not half-board). But i won’t include the restaurant rating from the hotel’s… The rooms were nice, functional with an excellent view and practical location to go skiing

This is a very small hotel, about 30 rooms, right at the foot of the ski slopes, with stunning views all round. Stayed there for a weeks skiing with a friend (the skiing is great there). The staff were all lovely, really helpful, hotel spotless, beautiful lounge and terrace, comfy dining room with log burner, and bar on the end of the hotel. Rooms a bit shabby but I guess they are doing the place up gradually. Very clean and comfortable though, great bed, and plenty of hot water. I stayed in a Superior room which was very spacious and had a balcony to sit out on, overlooking the slopes. I very much enjoyed the food: good variety at breakfast. The evening menu is quite short but they change the fish and meat option every day so there is plenty of variety, and everything I had was delicious. Very good drinks menu, if I have one criticism I would have liked a cheaper local wine option. We were very happy overall with what the hotel offered but should say that Le Bettex is a tiny hamlet, and the shops and bars there are only open during the day / early evening. This means if you want to eat elsewhere you really need a car, as there is nowhere else within walking distance at night. Also, because of the hotel location, you need to walk quite a way from their car park to the hotel with your luggage. These are not criticisms, just what you get if you want a ski in/out hotel. I loved my stay there and will certainly return if I get the chance.

Le Spot restaurant. Fantastic burger! Local, quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The details make the difference - homemade chutney and garlic mayo 🤤. Best Tarte Tatin ever! Also, great value for money; timely service; and friendly staff. Will definitely go back, have to try the risotto next time.

I had a lovely meal here, the new chef has created an interesting small menu with excellent flavours. The setting is spectacular and I found that it was excellent value for money. A FANTASTIC warm beetroot and goats cheese salad with a honey dressing will be the reason I return, not to mention the tasty mountain burger with a wonderful bacon & onion chutney.
