First of all, when we went to check in, our room had been given to another person with the same last name. They had to call him and make him switch rooms and we had to wait for the room to be cleaned.
We had 3 children with us, so pulled out the hide-a-bed for sleep space. There was only a mattress pad with food crumbs all over it. We called the front desk and told the person what was there and that we needed bedding. We were told to send someone down for it. Daughter-in law went to get the bedding and came back with a bag containing sheets and a rag full of holes that was supposed to be a blanket. We brought the mattress pad full of food crumbs and the "blanket" back to the desk. The clerk gave us a new mattress pad and another thin blanket. Had to ask for 2. She went on to tell us how terrible their housekeepers were and how one time they had a guest come down with an ice bucket that someone had obviously eaten cereal out of and it was clear it had been there for a long time.
The reason for the stay was to let the kiddos swim and use the hot tub. The pool area and water was cold. The hot tub was not in service. The kids were not able to swim very long at all. 2 guys showed up with a case of beer the pool area and blared their music with no intention to swim. Next morning one of the housekeepers got on the elevator with us blaring rap music on her phone. No headphones, just letting the vulgar language fly. Again, we had children in the elevator. Not good! $230 wasted!
