Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

When we first arrived and got our room key, the room key didn’t work. So then we had to go through the process of new keys and a new room. After we arrived at our second room, the AC wasn’t working. The thermostat said unoccupied room and wouldn’t allow us to turn on the AC. We called down and they sent someone up. When someone arrived, they looked at it as well and said it looked frozen. That they were booked up or they’d just move us rooms, again. They were supposed to have their manager come look at it. We waited until the temperature said 81 degrees in Mid August until I started to mess with it. Eventually, I was able to take a screw out that completely pulled off the thermostat and I held down some buttons until the whole thing eventually reset itself. Then, the AC was able to turn on. I called down to the front desk to let them know that we resolved the issue ourselves. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a thank you or an I’m sorry. The answer I got was “okay” and hung up the phone. I am disappointed at the chaos that happened when we arrived. And I am disappointed at the fact that nobody checked on the status of the AC etc. we had to fix it ourselves or it seemed we’d be sleeping in 85 degrees, but still paying for the full room. I am just disappointed overall. Due to that service experience I wouldn’t stay again.

Didn’t advertise that they were under construction and that the home 2 suits is the same thing as try by Hilton. So I paid twice as much for my room as I would have if booked with try. The room was gorgeous newly renovated… however, not cleaned well. On top of it our keys wouldn’t work for the door. I had to go to check in each time and request for their maintenance person to let me in. It became so horrible I ended up missing our dinner reservation as multiple guest had the same issue and it was a waiting line.

Pedimos que las habitaciones estuvieran listas porque veníamos de un largo viaje y los sofás camas no tenían ni sábanas ni almohadas , y cuando llegué a recepción me dijo quw ya no tenían más sábanas ni almohadas y no fuí la única habían otra personas con el mismo problema

Instalaciones antiguas, pero cómodas las habitaciones. Buenas amenidades extras. Incluye desayuno. Habitaciones limpias, pero no hacen limpieza.

There is NO Free parking for this hotel. They told us to park in the public pay parking lot across from the hotel and my car wasbroken into. 3 windows broken. The lot takes no responsibility, the police filed a report but won't do anything, there are cameras but said they won't get a search warrant for them. So nothing. My responsibility to file with my insurance.

The place is beautiful and the location can't possibly be beat! We went to a STL BLUES game and we walked and were there in ten minutes. Loved it. The price was a steal for all the amenities it offered.

Only street parking and the area does not look safe. $45 valet parking and a $100 pet fee that was not listed on orbitz

We were in town for a Volleyball tournament. Walking distance to the venue. Everything in the room was wonderful and new. Bathroom shower was great and having kitchen for morning coffee I loved!!
