Good location on the waterfront. Easy to find, short walk to "centre" of Old Town/Island. Front rooms have windows to river , rear rooms overlook walkway around small inner courtyard (like a Riad design) so privacy means closing curtains ,excluding all natural light . Clean , seemingly well maintained ,spacious enough, spare blanket(, comfortable mattress, one (too) big 4'6"bed .Hot water. hand held showerhead. Good sockets. Night noise:, constant thrum/whine of the aircon units located over the doors of the rooms ,and internal courtyard magnifies the noise. I did not use mine but had difficulty getting to sleep as everyone else seemed to put theirs on. Stayed 3 nights as part of tour. Chose restaurant first night due to late arrival, few choices of small plates, rather overpriced. Situated opposite hotel overlooking water. Breakfast mainly pastries (arranged four on one's individual plate) ,ubiquitous cheese triangles, chocolate spread. ,jam etc. Fresh bisap or baobab juice only nod to locality, otherwise food = French. Coffee good. One day fresh crepes served, but pre spread with Nutella!!! Not just tourist hotel, rooms for business meetings also. Staff friendly and helpful.
