蘭達海濱度假勝地酒店(Lanta Riviera Resort)

Nach vielen besuchten Hotels in Thailand hat das Lanta Riviera den Spitzenplatz unserer Negativliste. Die Minuspunkte sind einfach erdrückend. Beginnend mit dem Checkin mußten wir ein Bungalow akzeptieren, der weder in der Größe, noch in der Ausstattung, noch in der Sauberkeit der Beschreibung und den Bildern im Internet entsprach. Wir sind ausgebucht war die Antwort auf die Bitte, einen anderen Bungalow oder ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen. Nach langen Diskussionen war dann plötzlich in 2 Tagen doch ein anderes Zimmer frei, Aufpreis 500 THB pro Tag. Wir hatten für 12 Tage gebucht, also akzeptierten wir diese Konditionen. Die ersten 2 Tage waren nahezu unerträglich. Nachts rannten irgendwelche Tiere über die Holzdecke, das seitliche Fenster ging gegen eine Wand in 2 Meter Entfernung und der Wasserhahn lieferte nur ein Rinnsal, usw. Nach dem Umzug war das Zimmer besser ausgestattet, der Wasserhahn lieferte weiterhin nur ein Rinnsal, jedoch gab es einen Safe, relativ saubere Betten und einen schönen Balkon mit Gartenblick. Das Frühstück war eher eine Zumutung was das Essen und die Freundlichkeit des Personals betraf. Die Bar war bei rauchenden Gästen und Liebhabern des beschwingten Rauches, auch aus der Nachbarschaft sehr beliebt. Der Pool im Innenhof war bei sehr vielen Kindern gut genutzt. Die Bar und das Restaurant hatten in der Ausstattung den Charme einer Sperrmüllsammlung. Am Strand gab es für das "ausgebuchte" Resort leider nur 5 klapprige Liegestühle. Das Personal war leider nur teilweise bemüht, den Gästen ein Urlaubsgefühl zu gönnen. Viele Gäste reisten so schnell als möglich wieder weiter. Keine Empfehlung.

Nice location for me that is about all. Pool is disgusting had to go and ask them what they put in there pool. Has a funny taste to it. Looks very merky. We wasn’t the 1st people to complain about this. My children’s body’s were stinging from being in the pool. So we went to a near by restaurant called sand and sea just along the beach who aloud us to use there pool was much much nicer!!! If u don’t have a family I would not choose to stay in this hotel. As it’s full of children. Not a lot of sun beds around the pool. And none on the beach. Bath room is ok. Clean. No power on the water from shower though. Would not say the cleanest around the pool bar area.

Das Hotel erfüllt seinen zweck, es ist günstig, es hat saubere Zimmer und die Zimmer sind mit dem mindeste ausgestattet. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, es gibts im Innenhof einen netten kleinen Pool und das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, nicht so schön war die angesagte Strandbar des Hotels die wohl für Kiffer relativ beliebt war und bis Nachts immer zu hören war…

Wi-Fi didnt work inside the room , only at terrace. Breakfast was weird , you got a Ticket wich you marked what you want , fried eggs or omelett , coffee or Tea. So there is no buffet , only two toast , eggs And coffee And some fruits. Hotel is very near beach , that was fun. Garden is beautifull. We asked for early check-in , they answered ITS ok but when we arrived , our room wasnt ready And we needed to wait two hours . It was a big disappointment

Worst meal in Thailand. Staff impolite and mildly aggressive. Food was not cooked fresh; all just heated frozen food from a supermarket. Really poor quality. Didn't even serve a glass with the beer ordered. Such a shame as many other places to choose from nearby so a wasted experience! Also, pretty sure the bill was not accurate but really hard to double check without getting the menu out and scrutinising. Also overheard the table next to us arguing about their bill. Avoid this awful place.
