The initiation of my stay left much to be desired. I took advantage of the digital pre-check-in service through the hotel's app, diligently noting my arrival time of 3 PM. After several hours of traveling, I arrived punctually, only to be informed that our room was still not ready and there would be an additional wait of approximately 45 minutes. This unforeseen delay disrupted the remainder of my day's itinerary.
Although the hotel boasts cutting-edge technology, there seemed to be a lack of intelligent communication to pre-emptively manage guest expectations. Moreover, the app's functionality failed to perform as a digital door key on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The response from the front desk staff was indifferent, with a nonchalant, "Yeah, sometimes that happens."
The breakfast offerings were decent, although nothing more than the standard fare one would expect. Despite the initial disappointment, I must commend the quality of the accommodations, which were highly satisfactory. The room was immaculate, offering a pleasing contrast to the initial check-in experience. However, the shaky start did cast a slight shadow over the otherwise pleasant stay.
