My room was given to another individual and we had to wait until they investigate who’s in there and finally found out one of their worker made a mistake and gave our room. So we sat in the lobby with a new born and make it worse the bed was not comfortable and so we didn’t sleep well. The only thing that was great was the customer service in the front, they were super friendly. I would not recommend or stay there again.

The Legacy hotel presents well. Physically, in nice condition and it is clean. What we did not expect is the lack of services. From something as simple as getting ice, (you must call room service and it takes a long time to get any service) No ice machine is not great in my opinion. Secondly, we could not access any of our channels on television. Fire stick or Roku stick are not allowed: there’s no access to Netflix or Prime or Hulu. The only thing you could access was knowing the number/channel being offered but no lineup or times or titles for any of the channels. You could buy a movie for $16: they had 24 titles to choose from, and we had not heard of a single one of them. Nothing current, nothing trendy, and nothing at all intriguing. The people who work there are quite nice. The general manager was very apologetic, and stated that they are still new and working through all of the issues. They are three years old and they are still considering themselves new and have very easy fixes to the complaints that we had. Parking is $30 overnight and they have a huge parking lot with many empty spaces. Not sure why the overnight parking charge. While these complaints are pretty low level; it just goes to show that our expectations were not over the top. We had a family member having heart surgery at Scripps hospital and was a place for us to stay and unwind after returning and the fact that we couldn’t access any television shows that we like to watch was really disappointing!

I was disappointed when I walked into my room to find a strong musty room odor and king bed. I thought I booked a double queen. I called the front desk and was told “Sorry, we can't change your room because you booked with a third party, so we can't help you”. I go to the bar for a glass of pinot noir. I am told, “Sorry, we are out of pinot noir, our wine shipment comes in tomorrow”. I go back to my room to take a shower, only to find my room was given one washcloth that my daughter just used. The housekeeper offered me a bath mat because they were out of washcloths. She informed me that other guests were calling with the same request but she couldn't help because of a lack of washcloths. I asked if she could help me with the heater because of the extreme difference in its function. I am kicking myself for choosing this hotel.

The gentleman at the front desk was very rude to my wife and I. Never have I had a problem with this hotel in the past. Also was charged for parking and we didn’t park in the lot.remote and phone didn’t work in the room and the toilet bowl was very dirty as if it wasn’t cleaned properly
