This is an excellent hotel! It's located in a historical building right in the heart of San Gimignano. My room was very charming and cozy - it was very bright, with very high ceilings, and great views of the town's streets from two directions (the room was located at the corner of the building). It was also extremely quiet. There is also a shared living room area, balcony and fully equipped kitchen if you wish to cook your meals. Finally, Simona (the manager/ hostess) was just amazing. She made me feel so welcome. Upon arrival, she gave me a map of the town, and pointed out all of the main sites, and patiently answered any questions I had. The price is also very reasonable considering the location and the quality. I cannot recommend this place enough! You won't be disappointed.

I stayed a night after my graduation party. Around 19:30, we decided to eat the left over cake I had brought from my party the day before. There were no cutlery in the room (although the announcement included a refrigerator and microwave). So I went outside and happened to find the owner of the hotel. I asked if it was possible to find a spoon or fork. She said no. I said our neighbors said they had cutlery inside their rooms. The lady answered: they paid for it. You didn’t. Anyway, very rude response. This event made me very upset. Especially cause I feel like it wasn’t a big favor or anything too difficult to solve since other rooms had it. Just a small act of kindness. Other than that, we arrived in the city 14:30 and asked if we could leave our backpacks there (the check in time is 15h). She also said no. Basically our experience was terrible. I don’t recommend it at all.
