Nicest hostel in San Juan...(and I've tried about 4). The self check in with a keypad is so convenient for late nigjt flight arrival . The building has lovely furnished public spaces indoors and out, even a pool walking distance of food, drugstore, and fast Uber to the airport. Curtains around each bed for privacy and own power oulet! I like the other other older Nomada Urban branch but this location is more convenient and close walk to Isla Verde beach

The instructions for self check in were super easy to understand. The place was clean, but don't plan on walking barefoot. Don't leave your soap in a bathroom stall simply because someone may be showering in there when you were planning to. The beds are not the softest but as a heavy sleeper it was not a deterrent for me. The common areas have a really relaxed, cool vibe that made me wish my stay was longer just so I could make use of it more. My favorite part is that the beach is only a five minute walk away. I would absolutely stay again

I originally booked a solo room, but the made a mistake in my reservation and put me in a dorm room for the first 2 nights of my 5 day stay. There is a price different. They said the would refund me in 4 to 5 days but I never received the money. It feels a bit like a scam because I contacted them when I noticed I was never refunded and they never replied back.

My stay was great, despite my late arrival I was provided with everything I needed for a smooth check-in, staff was friendly and helpful, affordable rates, convenient location close to the beach and several shops and restaurants. Thank you guys!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the single private room. The location is great. Near the ocean and within walking distance from a plenty of stores. The hostel was nice and clean. There is a pin number to get into the building which I really like. The rooftop is cool and has a nice view. If you are looking for a party hostel this is not it. More of a hostel If you like privacy. My only con. No hangout area. I was solo traveler and didn't see many or any people most of the day.

The hostel is in a great location. Walking distance to a beautiful beach. Great local restaurants and fast food restaurants within a few minutes walk. Along with several other great shops. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was at home away from home.

Terrible. Just go somewhere else. First off, I was told I may be able to have an early check-in when I arrived and I could hang out in the common areas until my bed was ready. So I called the night before to confirm this. I got there after they opened in the morning the next day, the door was locked. No receptionist. I had to call and stand there on the curb in the blazing hot sun until someone came to open the door. The condition of the place was also nothing to write home about. The lockers were rusty and dirty (literally stained what I put in there). The bolts on the shower doors were rusty and when I locked it, I got stuck and couldn’t get out. The A/C was non existent. Unacceptable in the summer heat. Overall I wish I could give this place lower than a zero. Also, what kind of establishment charges for “stained white towels?” Definitely a rip off and a money grab. There is literally no way to give back a completely crispy white towel after using it. Just classless.

This is a hostel right near Ocean Park. It is smack in the heart of a active business neighborhood. The layout is a four story building with no elevator, and rooms require stairs. About a 5 minute walk to beach and the beach is great. Kitchen was good and every level had some sort of common space. The rooftop didn't seem that well cared for and the frequent rain made using it out of the question. Bring your own booze because they do not have a good selection at the hostel. I felt safe traveling solo there. They have a sister hostel right across from the airport with pool, about a mile away, that you can access.

Excellent location of the Hostel. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The communication is outstanding towards the check-in/check-out process. The zone is a couple of blocks away from the beach and Loiza street has many restaurants and bars. Perfect for all ages.

This was an amazing experience. The facilities are clean and you are provided with anything you could need. The staff are exceptional as Emma, Henry and Ever made the experience even better than expected. I highly recommend staying at Nomada and will be back!

This is the perfect place and location. It is very clean, the front desk staff are very friendly knowledgeable and professional. They provide basic amenities and the place is very warmth and welcoming I would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Nomada Beach Hostel for one night. I stayed in the mixed dorm room. As far as hostels go, this was one of the better experiences I have had in over 30 years of travel. The place was spic & span clean. It was well-managed by people who care about what they are doing. The location was great for me, as I wanted to be close to the beach. The kitchen and public spaces were great. There is even a nice, private roof-top terrace on the top of the building. The shared bathroom accommodates all genders, and the showers and toilets have individual doors, for plenty of privacy. There were a number of couples staying there, and they seemed to be very happy with the private rooms. There is a public transportation bus stop just across the street, and plenty of bars, restaurants, and even a Walgreen’s nearby, in case you wish to purchase your won wine, liquor, or snacks. They even had an acoustic guitar in one of their public spaces. It is certainly not a Martin or Taylor, but it played well and stayed in tune.

I liked the facility...nice to have a private room and bathroom option. The walls are super thin so even in quite hours it was pretty noisy. Thankfully we were so tired from all the sun, it didnt bother us too much .

Our private double room was simple but had everything we needed. The hostel was a little bit away from the center of it all, but its location on Calle Loiza and its proximity to the beach and bus routes made it well positioned for a good time. The rooftop lounge area was a great place to chill as well as meet other people. The hostel's "rules" were simple and sensible and helped keep the place clean and friendly. The shared kitchen and dining area served us well. The staff was super helpful on many occasions.
