🏠RECOMMANDATION - SAPA - CAT CAT GARDEN HOUSE Après avoir passé 2 nuits ici, on ne pouvait partir sans vous conseiller cet établissement, où on se sentait comme à la maison. Les chambres sont très propres et la vue sur les montagnes et les rizières est incroyable. Mais surtout, la gérante et son personnel, issus des minorités ethniques, aux histoires de vies prenantes et honorables sont d’une bienveillance rare. Nous avons été invité à partager un dîner avec eux, comme une famille. Nous sommes arrivé à 7h après un bus de nuit, notre chambre étant disponible nous l’avons eu de suite, et ça, vous le savez, c’est royal! Catcat Gardens is a lovely hotel with a real friendly, relaxed, homely feel. The restaurant/ bar has one of the best Mountain views I’ve ever seen! I could have sat there for hours…. My room was comfortable and clean and also had a lovely terrace with Mountain view. The staff are friendly and helpful, they will assist with arranging trips/ tours and give advice on things to do in the area.

The accommodation was quite pretty and the room itself was spacious, clean enough, and comfortable. The staff were genuinely nice and tried to make our stay easier by offering helpful amenities such as early check-in and laundry service. However, the food was disappointing — the portions were small and the breakfast selection felt limited. The bathroom was the biggest issue: the toilet had a sewage smell with no air vent to clear it, and the shower temperature was very temperamental, swinging between too hot and too cold. We even had to take interval showers to let it heat up again for the next person. Overall, the stay had some lovely elements, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We only stayed a night but really enjoyed it and would gladly go back. At the price, it was fantastic - great views from the restaurant and food to match (seemingly bought in from outside, but that's OK). Friendly welcome and great service. Nice, well-appointed rooms with great views. Fully-functional bathroom with sufficient water pressure. Fast WiFi. It really is everything you need and nothing you don't.
