First visit and never again. Rooms are not well maintained from a maintenance perspective. Stayed for the week and on my 1st night had to request another room due to the noise of the air-conditioning. I cannot believe that the team here are not aware of the noise and you still felt it ok to place me in a room like that for a week and there were plenty other rooms available. I person having dinner one evening mentioned to his friend that he always requests a room on a specific side due to noise so definitely they are aware. So besides having to walk past stinky socks in the passage and having your breakfast messed up, the last straw was this morning. When going for breakfast I was asked by a staff member to get something in my room. I could not hear her and said ok and waited. The lady walked in opened my curtains and windows etc and started removing the bedding. My goodness I have not even checked out yet. This was at 8. PS Terence and the breakfast manager are awesome. They know what customer service is.

I have stayed here numerous times in the past but I can see that levels of service have dipped drastically. even though we had pre-booked and paid the reception took ages to check us in, gave us the wrong room (double bed instead of 2 twin beds). Our bathroom had black mould on the ceiling and in the shower. The TV played only SABC, ETv and a couple sports and news channels and 2 african channels, so no DSTV. The worst was when we ordered room service and were told to come and collect our food at reception, then spent 15 minutes waiting whilst the waitrons tried to get our bill right, we got 3 bills all incorrect. The food order was also not correct but we let it go because we had just reached our fed up point. The whole 2 days there we did not see 1 manager on duty. i will not be staying here again.

Front desk lady was very friendly from the moment we checked in to the moment we left.. Staff were also very accommodating due to circumstances we had to checkout late yet they understood. Room was clean and tidy. No noise. Very peaceful surroundings.

Had a great stay at the City Lodge Sandton. The room was spacious, neat and clean with stylish furniture and finishes. The interior of the hotel is of a very high standard. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Room service was prompt and staff assisted with friendliness.

Good place, fresh and clean. Staff very helpful. I loved the coffee at the desk every morning. Clean bedrooms and great service. Desk always available and helpful. I used a room with double bed and a sleeping sofa for children. I do recommend to everyone.

Very well located and safe. Staff were really friendly. Hotel room was clean and all in order. Maybe the channels of TV service may be consist of larger variety. Was super excited to watch the MMA fight of Dricus Du Plessis, but really limited choice. Morning take away coffee with rusks served was a surprise.

THE PILLOWS ARE FLUFFY, THE ROOM KEPT CLEAN. THE BATHROOM TOP NOTCH BOTH SHOWER AND BATHTUB. I LIKED THE BATH SOAP WHICH HAD ROUGH GRANULES, SELF SERVICE FOR TEA AND COFFEE WAS OF GOOD QUALITY. THE TV IS ALSO WELL PLACED IN THE ROOM
