海灘美景旅館(Beachview Inn)

It’s a budget option so no surprises, but the property is tired and could use a power wash and paint job. The rooms are small and the fixtures are old. The beds were ok but not nice. The USB ports in the light fixtures next to the beds would turn off when you shut the light switch on the wall so you could not use them overnight. Probably not installed by an electrician. Lots of exposed wires running thru broken pvc pipes throughout the property. No fridge. Floors were clean but sandy. When we walked off the property, we immediately ran into a scene of cops arresting men for fighting. Anyway, not a great experience. Left a day early and was not offered a refund or follow up.

This is a dump! parking at 45 degree angle. No breakfast, no coffee maker in room; refrigerator leaked; pillows were flat; looked like poorly patched bullet hole in sink; mirror had imprints of adhesive on it; no bath mat in tub so slippery; no chair or sofa; no ice; no vending machine. charged $100 for immenities😂

We booked this hotel as a VERY budget option for the area. I was on a work trip and we made it into a mini-vacation. For this reason, I wasn't looking for something REALLY nice, just something super convenient and clean. This hotel is in a SUPERB location, just a block from the ocean/pier and two blocks from the Boardwalk. We loved how close it was to everything and the neighborhood was super safe. The things we did not love: The rooms are VERY small, I'm talking TINY. Not a big deal if you're just planning to sleep in the room and don't care about much else. The walls are also very thin - we could clearly hear our neighbors having an argument that woke us up one night, and with the way the walkway and windows are in front of the room, people basically can see right into your room if you don't have the curtains pulled tight and it's a bit unnerving if you leave the window open for air and people are walking right outside. If you get a second floor room, be ready for a heck of a climb and a very narrow staircase/walkway - I tripped a bit going up the stairs one evening because they were so steep and narrow. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean, rooms had a little fridge and we even had a bit of an ocean view. I don't need a bit fancy room when I'm on vacation, I go more for location and cleanliness.

Very nice property. Parking is a little challenging as it’s in a hill but not too bad. Easy to find. Room nice and big. Staff very friendly. Walking distance to pier and beach front boardwalk. Restaurant selection not bad. I’m sure there is more in town if you want to drive but we where happy walking around. Not everything opened as where were there in May, but we still had a great stay.

It became my main option for my bi-annually business trip. Very fair rate. Easy access. Walkable to the beach. Feels safe. Helpful front desk. The bedroom is ok. Bed is not that comfortable for me - But if you are in the soft side might work for you. Make sure to ask for a bedroom in the back of the property. Front rooms capture noise from the street.

I loved the convenience of location was relieving. Also, the check in and check out process I found super efficient. Along with kind staff and perfect parking lot. The building itself is a little run down considering mold on the walls and the condition of furnishings within bedrooms but, I think some donations can fix her right up. DO NOT TEAR DOWN THIS MOTEL STAY.

The front desk lady was very friendly and nice. We had a very good short time there. The beach is actually 5 min walk. We just left our car there and explored around. Very convinient location to roam around santa cruz.

Loved the location, and it's overall a great bargain for the proximity to the wharf and boardwalk. the bathroom was clean. Window screen did not close all the way, which meant flies would come in when airing the place out. floors were dirty, pillows really thin and towels very co**** / not enough.

I always stay here when I go to Santa Cruz. I love that it's just a few minutes walk to the wharf and the boardwalk. I come by myself all the time and I've never had any problems, I always feel safe. The husband and wife that run the place are really great and very friendly!
