Some of the staff was unhelpful: they could not find my reservation and I could not check in for 30 mins, instead of calming me down, the person in the front desk told me that she could not do anything. It was a bit nerve-wracking. The amenities were nice but there was black out and there was no power backup. The jacuzzi was not heating properly even when on. Pros: The view was amazing and the breakfast was very nice.

Muy malo. Caluroso, personal no fue cariñoso. Se cortó la luz por ＞ 12 horas y no nos avisaron, no habia wifi ni ventiladores. Quedaba lejos del pueblo. La comida nonera tan buena y la. Piscina estaba muy caliente. Mala experiencia, no volveré

Wij raden deze accommodatie sterk af. Ons reisbureau had deluxe kamer gereserveerd maar we kregen een standaard. Na onze klacht en telefoontjes van ons reisbureau, deden ze vervolgens niets. De kamer was zo klein, je kon je kont niet keren en overal schimmels op de muren. Een piepklein balkon met uitzicht op het zwembad van de buren met veel herrie. Alleen ontbijt er zou een restaurant zijn maar er was niets. Ze zeggen ook cocktails te maken maar toen we bestelden kregen we niets….. Ook geen 24 hour receptie, zoals staat aangegeven, en geen parasols. Bij de rivier staan soort van 2 tubs en een iets groter watertje….ze zeggen dit elke dag met (ijskoud) water uit de rivier te vullen. Vanaf het hotel kan je soort van binnendoor, via een hangbrug in 10 min n Minca lopen. ‘S avonds niet aan te raden, veel te donker. Na 1 nacht, tot overmaat van ramp, zonder stroom, vanwege de regen…dus geen water, licht, fan etc….vertrokken naar Minca Ecohab, prima hotel met grote huisjes

This was excellent. Being up in the mountains and off the beaten track don’t expect 5* accommodation, but it was comfortable and clean and what a view! You are one with nature and the walk in to town was pleasant. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fresh. I would definitely go back!

I've seen reviews blasting this place. I think people may have too high an expectation. This is not a luxury eco resort. It's kind of closer to glamping. It's a beautiful spot after a bumpy ride in. Or a 15 min walk from town. We had a room that was not in the main house but across. The room was basic. Had a great balcony shared with the room next door. No screens. No ac. It did have a netted bed but I didn't want to sleep with the doors open so it was a bit stuffy. Good breakfast. Helpful staff though it's good to know a bit of Spanish.

Way, way down a long unmade up track is this backpacker hostel/hotel. I absolutely loved its laid back charm and mostly i loved the river and waterfall at the end of the garden which is all yours to enjoy - quite incredible and the roar of it can be heard all day and night long. Our room was cool and airy, ceiling fan and mosquito nets. Limited supplies in the bathroom and I asked to borrow a hair dryer. Breakfast is brought to you with no menu but you can ask for what you want or don't want. We were very very happy here. There is a short cut to walk up to the village - take the rickety bridge over the river x

Awful so-called boutique hotel without any service nor comfort. The pictures displayed are misleading and don't match reality whatsoever. When checked in, tempeturature in our rooms was over 35°C and there was no air conditioning -only fans. The safe boxed didn't work, bottled water was not provided, water pressure war poor, there were hideous cheap plastic seats all around the hotel as well as huge plastic bins in front of reception. Breakfast was a disaster: we needed to wait 20 minutes to get coffee heated in a microwave oven, eggs were overcooked and food was minimal without fruits -very different from the pictures shown. Security was non-existent as the didn't lock the entrance door and staff had gone away when we came back from dinner at 8:00 pm. Last and not least, rooms at $120 a night were extremely small with a balcony overlooking a corrugated iron shed.

Ik raad deze accommodatie sterk af omdat alles op dit complex verouderd en slecht onderhouden is. Wij verbleven in de deluxe kamer met balkon/hangnet. De gordijnen om het licht buiten te houden zijn smerig en daarbij zijn er ook ramen zonder gordijnen dus de hele functie van de gordijnen zijn onzin. De badkamer is smerig en vol schimmel. Ook als je in de douchecabine gaat staat zak je gevoelsmatig door de bodem. De handdoeken die gebruikt worden zijn vies en worden nauwelijks vervangen. Het bed is verouderd en de lakens die gebruikt worden zijn vies. Ook heeft het bed geen klamboe wat geen overbodige is midden in de bergen. Het complex zou een restaurant hebben, deze is zonder vooraf te communiceren gesloten. De jacuzzi’s functioneren niet na behoren en het zwembad (zover je dat kan noemen) is slecht onderhouden. Er wordt ook gecommuniceerd dat er personeel rond loopt wat Engels spreekt, dit is niet het geval! 1 pluspunt dat zijn de ontbijt dames die zijn vriendelijk en het eten is goed. Kortom momenteel zeker niet boeken! Bij de buren vragen ze dezelfde prijs maar is alles top geregeld 👍🏼 ( costeño river)
