霍蘭麗怡酒店(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Holland, MI)

We booked 2 nights at this property and we left after the 1st night. Pillowcases were filthy , bed sheets had stains and the floors upon entrance were also dirty. We ended up booking another hotel because we couldn’t stand to stay the second night. Asked the hotel for a refund for the second night and haven’t heard back.

Front desk staff gave another guest a key to our room and he walked in on my wife and I getting ready for a wedding. They were not sympathetic and barely apologized. Not sure how you can give another guest a key to a room when you just checked us into that room no less than an hour ago. Very unprofessional and do not recommend staying here. Plenty of other nicer hotels in the area that deserve your business.

This hotel is in need of repairs and updating. The ice machines were down, the elevator went down on one of the days. There was also a guess near us on crutches! The window seal in our room has had some leaking issues and you could see outside from around the window. We returned back to the hotel the 2nd night to a high pitched squealing noise, that must have been plumbing? Picked up the phone to call tge front desk and the phone was unplugged. The noise stopped after about 10 minutes. My husband went down to the front desk and by the time they came up it had stopped. It was as clean as it could be I guess for being old and run down. This was our 39th Anniversary weekend and I was not impressed! It may not be important to others, but 39 years of marriage is a huge deal to us!! I tried to be understanding and not complain, but it was not cheap to stay there! We paid around $650 for 3 nights. I feel that the rating of good was misleading. Fortunately we left the hotel early in the morning and returned later at night and didn’t let it ruin all of our trip!

Breakfast area is way too small for amount of guests, it was nearly impossible to havr breakfast, waiting for the waffel maker was the worse, with very limited food options the waffle maker was the choice for many children, this caused usbto wait 30 minutes with hungry kids to get food. The beds were horrible, my wife and I had back pain every morning. The pool was tiny. Just poor in general. Clean, but felt like we were making a human soup rather than enjoying a pool. If felt like they just wanted to check off the box for pool so they did the minimum. If you cant afforded other places, this is fine, if you can spend a little bit more go somewhere else. I would not recommend this location to my friends or family.

Well, it was not great. Just poor condition of the hotel. Garbage piled up by the dumpster(which is not a big concern) just felt run down. The boy working in the front was super kind and helpful. He tried. We had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and loved it! We will be staying the the hotel down the street next time

Checked in at 10:30 pm, thought that I had requested handicap, he said I had not. Gave us literally the room furthest away from the front door, 2nd floor, down 3 hallways, last door. Handicap parking around the back of building when the suitcase cart and elevator and ramp are in the front of the building!!! How is this ADA approved? Front desk attendant told my husband he could not further accommodate us. He was filled for the night. Very disappointed, I usually like Country Inn and Suites… 1st time I was treated like this. Know we were late checking in but we had had a long day traveling and he was not helpful.

The property is old and poorly kept the whole place has a smell. The carpets were filthy, the chairs were stained. The water in the lobby was as always empty. The walks are very thin and I could hear the conversation in the room next door. I would not recommend this place.

Room was tidy but carpets were dirty and hotel bed linens were old and faded. I can see now why these rooms are non refundable. I would’ve left once I saw it if it wasn’t. Staff was wonderful but they need to put some money into this run down property

Horrible place to stay! Scam you out of money and your room just to resell the room and kick you out after you’ve already paid… DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! Breakfast was horrible and their staff knows what scam they are running cause it happened to an older couple but they were allowed to stay when I was asked to leave… Negative 20 star rating! Oh not to mention all the charges to my car even after they took the money out of my account. Had to get a new card cause they tried to charge me a grand altogether with all the denied transactions from them!
