薩凡達阿里達酒店-臻品之選(The Alida, Savannah, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel)

The Alida was amazing, along with their crew. Saint Pats was well done by all. Clean, charming rooms and location with everything you need within 5 mins walking distance. We’ll done Alida.

This hotel was a real disappointment. Very expensive…$300+ for a small room with a king bed, no coffee maker or microwave. Literally no view…the window was covered with slats on the outside…denying us a wonderful look at the roof-top HVAC units. Valet parking (no self parking) was $51…not $50, not $55, but $51 a night. Go figure. Did I mentioned the $30-a-night resort fee? I guess that was for the wonderful pool…that had a 3-foot DEEP end. “No Diving”…no kidding. Good location. Nice looking restaurant. Not planning to return.

Our 5 day stay at the Alida was fantastic. We arrived after midnight to a very friendly man at the front desk . The hotel has such a cool Savannah vibe. All 4 of us loved the refillable water bottles and water stations around the hotel. The Rhett had amazing food both room service abd sitting in the restaurant. We loved visiting the bartender each night and he even made our 2 teens some nonalcoholic drinks. We loved the fitness center and pool. The pool bar mixed up some perfect drinks and snacks. The pool was warm with very comfortable chairs, umbrellas and towels. The pool was my favorite part of this hotel, my daughter loved the window seat in the room, my husband lived the free street parking, andmy son enjoyed the free cookies. The Riverside area was the coolest place to walk around. We loved the shops and restsurants. I literally researched every hotel in Savannah and now I know the Alida is the best !!¡!

This is my third year staying at the property. It's a beautiful building in a prime location, but the rooms were in a sad state. We switched rooms after the first room had a horrendous musty smell (and a clogged bathroom sink and curtains that had been pulled down from the rod). We ran into a couple later that evening that said they also had to switch rooms because of the smell in their room. Kudos to the front desk staff for quickly finding a replacement room for us, but even that room had a poorly cleaned bathroom, including with hairs on the ledge of the sink... Bear in mind, both of these rooms were suites so it's concerning to think what level of attention the other rooms were getting.

The desk staff was very uppity and disrespectful. We booked a room with a city view, The clerk started to put us on that side of the hotel, then said something to the other clerk, laughed and put us in the room over looking the roof nextdoor. The room was dreadful and small. manager on duty said sorry. we came back to our room after dinner there as 4 craft beers in a bowl, gesture I guess. Then we were charged for them upon checkout. I've stayed at better econolodge.

Terrible staff. Tricked me into paying $50 more for view & got view of parking lot.I was in tears when i sae that. It was all a joke to rhem & they never re-imbursed claiming to be busy

they did not give us the room type king river view we had booked. also a river view means view on that side of the hotel. no river to be seen from this room atleast

We stayed for 6 nights and spent far more money than this hotel is worth. We had watched in the safe and upon departure, I realized I’d forgotten them in the safe. I immediately called the front desk, not particularly worried, as they were locked in the safe. They said they would look into it and call me back. When they called back, they stated they weren’t there, which means someone on their staff stole them, without question. No one else would have been able to access the safe. Since then, they’ve been extremely uncooperative, said they’d call me back and didn’t and this morning the Assistant Manager hung up on me. Absolutely terrible experience; literally the worst hotel experience I’ve had in hundreds of hotels.

Had a great staycation at the Alida! The room was a perfect corner suite with an amazing view of the Talmadge Bridge! Could not have asked for a better night away!
