薩凡納市中心/歷史街區萬豪SpringHill酒店(SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown/Historic District)

This was one of the nicer hotels we have stayed In. The proximity to everything in Savannah was spot on. The only thing I was disappointed in was the the price of valet parking. I think $38.00 a day is steep.

The hotel is located on the edge of the historic district, so it is a quick 10-15 minute walk to either River Street or even Forsyth Park. Even the standard suites are larger than most other similar properties. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were above average. All employees from the front desk to the breakfast servers and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly. Rated lower in the facility category as the outside landscaping by the sidewalks was **** filled and over grown. This really detracted from the exterior appearance. The fitness was large and has a good amount of cardio equipment but only had one, torn workout bench, no area/mats for core work and the hand weights were missing all 20lb and 25lb pairs. There should be other strength training options. The breakfast food options were presented in an attractive manner with good over all quality.

We loved how it was close to everything! Very clean hotel. I would stay here again!

Interactions with two front desk and one operations manager were sullen and unhelpful. I asked about a random pending charge that s arrived after I had paid in full. Shrug. “call your bank.” Parking unavailable except for $38/day valet. Carpeting was stained, smelly, and musty. I forgot my jewelry and had to call 5 times over the next week, Leave messages, and finally speak to manager only to be unapologetically told“Nothings been found” meaning it was stolen or the room was never cleaned. No professionalism.

We had to cancel our Reversation due to family member getting sick. Springhill Suites did not charge us. We never got our refund from Travelocity. It's been over a month now. James Bowden Perry, FL 32347 July 25, 2023

This hotel, while really nice, does not have parking except valet parking at $38/day. The self parking is at a nearby garage which should be fine but the attendants hold parking spaces for residents. The sign on the garage read full but I saw some cars leaving so I pulled in. I watched 9 cars leave but the attendant still would not let anyone in because a certain number of spaces have to be held for residents of the downtown area. I had to drive around for over an hour to find another parking space within walking distance to the hotel. If the hotel is going to use that garage as its self parking area, then some sort of deal should be made with the garage so that guests can actually park there. I will never book there again.
