The workout room was closed for repairs. The food was average. The plumbing needs updating. The beds make noises when you sit on them, like the mattress rubs/creaks inside the platform. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel just needs some refurbishing.

el hotel esta en pleno down town, la ubicación excelente, el hotel colonial muy bien conservado, pero el personal muy parco y poco atento. Me parece terrible que con lo que cuesta la noche solo den limpieza a la habitación día de por medio y el desayuno muy servicio rapido.

I did not know by the description that there would be a charge for parking. On top of that the parking at the Hampton Suites was not sufficient and we had to park a block away. As senior citizens we were not pleased at all and came back before it was dark. As senior citizens we were afraid we would be "easy pickings" walking at night. So not pleased with the property at all and at a high price.

The hotel is pretty and the style fits the historic nature of Savannah. I did not like the parking situation as I had to park at the Embassy Suites. Also, there is no restaurant at this hotel and you are referred to the Embassy Suites. Next time, I may stay at the Embassy Suites. The front desk staff was helpful and gave my party a coupon for Old Savannah tours. We needed another coupon (my sister changed her mind and decided to join us after lunch) and the concierge seemed confused about the coupons. A front desk clerk overheard our conversation and gave us another.

Poor ventilation in rooms. Moldy smell. Mold in crevices in shower enclosure. Toilet tank leak, ran periodically. Annoying. Floors not cleaned. Room phone - front desk busy every time I tried to call. Peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Computer in large sitting room was inaccessible and could not be used. Spoke to manager and made requests to fix issues. They weren't. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. Stayed in Hampton Inn and Suites in Pompano Beach FL and it was good. Too bad this one had numerous problems.

Great hotel near everything in Savannah. Walking distance to the Riverwalk, parks, shopping, and restaurants. Love the atmosphere of the hotel, great breakfast, and had coffee and tea available at the lobby at all time, even had cookies and lemonade in the lobby in the afternoons. Did have to pay $30/night for parking but had in and out access all day. Often times the parking lot at the hotel is full and you will have to park at the parking deck of the Embassy Hotel next door and walk over. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were there as a family for vacation.

The Hampton Inn is located within walkable distance to the river, the marketplace and several restaurants as well as the free DOT bus. We booked a walking tour and we were able to walk to the meeting site. The only time we needed to move our vehicle was when we went to Tybee Island. The entire staff is wonderful as was breakfast which is available until 10 a.m. for late sleepers. Our room was clean with comfy pillows and mattress. So glad we booked this hotel!

The only complaint we have is the morni g breakfast doesn’t have enough seating for the amount of people. Every morning we had to wait quite some time to have somewhere to sit for breakfast. Otherwise it was great all around! A special shout out to Miss Barbara that worked morning breakfasts! She was fantastic!

Staff was accommodating and kind. They moved us immediately upon our reporting that clothes were still in the closet and food was still in the fridge. But parking stinks (if you’re lucky enough to find one of a few lot spaces, it’s free- if you don’t, you walk quite a distance to a parking garage that is not free. Why no valet?) Our room served it’s purpose, but furniture was peeling, wires hanging out of the AC unit, caulking worn out. It just needs some TLC. For $240, we had higher hopes!

I liked that it was within walking distance of restaurants & downtown Savannah. I didn’t like that the bathroom sink stopper was broken, sink kept filling up with water. No bathroom ventilation fan, & the air conditioner wouldn’t maintain a comfortable temperature. The room was really clean, which was nice & the staff downstairs in the dining area were exceptionally nice.

We had a difficult time checking in. We called from the airport to see if we could get an early check in. Check in is at4:00. They said yes. When we arrived the room was not ready. We had to wait until 5:00 pm for our room. It ruined our arrival. We told them at that point we were checking out the next day. Waiting for the refund for two days.

This hotel is everything they say beautiful, historic,clean and the staff are amazing!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back! 😊

Everything was pretty good other than the location of the room. Our room was on the first floor next to a busy main street and there was some noisy traffic all night long which makes sleeping very hard.
