A wonderful stay at Eliza Thompson House. Staff is awesome, location is perfect, the historic house is amazing and the breakfast makes your day. One of the best places we have been in the US.

Southern Hospitality at its finest! This is a top-notch place to stay in the historic district. The location is great and it’s a very walkable area. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful street in the area. The staff there are excellent and extremely helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. Some nice added touches were the evening happy hour with wine and appetizers, and the later evening dessert and port. We underestimated how many nights we should have stayed and left wanting more. We will definitely be back!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hat uns mit der Parkuhr geholfen. Beim der Ankunft gab es Käse und Wein zum degustieren. Das Zimmer hatte Charme.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Amenities were awesome. Always cold bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea available. Breakfast were delicious! Nice courtyard area for sitting and breakfast. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood with walking ease to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!

The front desk staff are friendly & very helpful with parking info. The room was beautiful! The courtyard is very lovely. We enjoyed the afternoon reception treats. The best was the breakfast in the courtyard. Very delicious!! All staff were great.

I had an incredible stay at Eliza Thompson House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The house is beautifully maintained, offering both charm and comfort. The daily breakfast, wine reception with hors d’oeuvres, and dessert were all exceptional. The location is perfect—conveniently close to everything, yet peaceful and serene. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable, with an impressive attention to detail. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning! Five stars all the way!

When we checked in the lady was rude. Didn’t get the room that we originally chose.
