I would say extremely overpriced for a weekend visit..they get customers only due to instagram promotions..property faces clean lake..yet mgmt has never bothered to promote activities like boating and bird watching..there are stones ***** pathways towards rooms..ideally it should be tiled, neat and clean..bed is uncomfortable..for price charged per day it should be super comfortable...food is very average..and for 450 bucks breakfast is dead ordinary..select items in lunch and dinner r ok..surprise surprise the maharashtrian specialty like misal was poor in taste...and lastly..reception has a very impolite wo***..hotel industry needs polite people...finally approach roads towards the resort are sad and have loads of potholes..so it's a fight driving..plus points r the lake with nice birds around and also sunrise view there

Nice huge property near the Malshej lake. Rooms are reasonably clean but considering the food prices, They wish to market it as four star property but there are not ***y amenities including options for a big group. Worth visiting in monsoon. They should include breakfast in room rate for more acceptability

Visited the resort during 1st May long weekend. The resort is located at a strategic location and near to the lake. Rooms 301 to 314 are lake facing. There are 2 restaurants. Mati Bani restaurant is near the restaurant. It serves Chinese, Maharashtrian and North Indian cuisine. They also serve liquor

I visited this place in September 2023. Here is my 6-point review. 1. The location of this resort is excellent. You can enjoy a splendid lake view from the rooms on the first floor, especially the village brick rooms. 2. The staff's behavior was good, though not exceptional. 3. The size of the room was adequate. I stayed in the suite room, which had a spacious living room and bedroom. The toilet was clean, tidy, and equipped with proper toiletries. 4. The linen was clean, and we had no issues with it whatsoever. 5. In the evening, we had tea at the Lake View Cafe. Unfortunately, the tea was disappointing and quite expensive (125 + taxes). As a result, we decided to have all our meals outside. There is an excellent restaurant called "Blue Deck Restaurant" (Blue Water Resorts) about a kilometer ahead of this resort, which we found to be very good. 6. Despite being listed as a 4-star property on various travel sites, the maintenance was subpar. There were visible seepage patches all over the room. Additionally, there was a peculiar smell in the room that could have been addressed with a diffuser or similar solution. However, aside from room freshener spray, the staff did not have any alternatives. The room freshener also only worked for a few minutes. Overall, the experience was good, but the beverages were a major disappoin**ent. We did not try the food here, as it did not match the pictures and ratings shared on different platforms. Not a value-for-money option.

55 of us went to Saj by the Lake and everything was fantastic. The location, the food, and the relentless services. They have one of the most well trained set of staff. The co ordination from Mr. Sahu, and Mr. Rao was great. The captain in charge of food and beverage Mr Sajal Chakroborty was exceptional. We stayed for 3 days and all of us had a fantastic time.

Hello team SAJ , Thank you very much for hosting us. We had a wonderful time and a best weekend. The food was very delicious and amazing 👌. The hospitality was on point ! Specia thanks to Mr.@⁨Malshej Saj Sajal Chakraborty-F&B ***ager⁩ and Mr. @⁨~Ramkishore⁩. Thank you for being available 24*7 whenever we needed you. The housekeeping team did an excellent job helping us with all the arrangements for the Party. I believe it would have been a very difficult task for them later after our checkout cleaning the rooms😅. But in short it was a great experience and thank you very much for hosting us.

The from mumbai to this place is well built. While the ghat area might be scenic, the road however is filled with potholes. The place seems good, secluded with a good lake view but needs maintenance as we could see seapage and rust, what prompted me to give this bad a rating was sheer money mindedness the owner/***ager of the place operates with. On the second of our stay, at breakfast, we found a cockroach in our meal. And the upon escalation, the ***ager/owner (Mr Rao) casually mentioned to us "Kabhi kabhi ho jata hai" as if it was just another day at the office. He did not have an iota of embarrassment or was feeling sorry about all this. By the way, we PAID IN FULL for cockroach infested breakfast. there are ***y other places near mumbai especially towards Pune or alibaugh or for that matter towads Vasai, Da*** which are much better.

Saj is a property among agricultural fields. It stands as a property in the midst of nature. The amenities, conceptualisation and design is excellent. It has also has an over enthusiastic In charge. The staff are oblivious to the current situation and innocent as they are mostly locals. The pros are the super stay and food and the idyllic surroundings. The strong cons are their poor digital connectivity of their systems and poor accounts and back office in view of lack of knowledgeable staff.

Resort is really good and situated amidst nature with beautiful lake view but be shocked as there are no mobile networks here and resort people do not inform before hand about network issues. Visit this resort only if you have Jio network or else you are screwed! WiFi too works only in reception area and that too is on off! WiFi all over the resort is an absolute must for such property! Plus maintenance is a big big issue. Every corner you will find a spider web indoors as well as outdoors. For the bomb price they are charging, this is completely unacceptable! Food is good but can be improved on the variety front. Hope these issues are addressed soon!
