宮山酒店(Palace Hill Hotel)

This place is an absolute GEM 💎 The style of this hotel is modern, cosy and especially fabulous! We stayed in room 9 and we just loved it! The location is perfect, easy walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. We would definitely book this place again! All I'd say is that with the hot drinks section in the room just add decaffeinated tea and coffee as an option. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, we were at the top of the hotel so it’s a fair few steps after a lot of walking about but not really an issue. Both slept really well. Perfect location for Scarborough, close to all amenities you’d need and sightseeing spots. Parking was easy and appreciated the extra hours offered to help us out. We’d definitely stay again when they have breakfast back on.

Came across this hotel by chance & couldn’t fault anything about the place Adam was very welcoming & carried our cases to the room which we had at the front room number 5 was very spacious & spotlessly clean & a very comfortable bed just wish it had been a king size as that’s what we’re use too, the bathroom was nice modern & spacious spotlessly clean with free toiletries & nice fluffy towels. The only problem is I’m a light sleeper & the gulls were the noisiest I’ve ever heard 😂but Adam does offer earplugs if you want them Wi-Fi was also good just a shame we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast as he’s not serving throughout 2024 due to being new parents to jasmine who was so cute 🥰 many thanks for a great stay Arthur & Alison xx

A Lovely place to stay, great location between the sea front and town. It was lovely and clean and very welcoming. Both my partner and I slept really well, there was everything you needed with coffee, milk etc. being re-stoked daily. Parking was easy and nearby.

Gorgeous little hotel located just off the sea-front so great for all the touristy stuff. Very warm welcome and the room was spotlessly clean and cosy and warm. Would have loved to have tried the breakfasts as I bet they would be awesome but the owners Adam and Tip had a beautiful little baby so not on offer for this year. Teeny tiny little negative was the size of the bathroom but totally understandable in a property of that age and history behind it. Would def visit again. Excellent value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The hotel has been tastefully renovated & is in a great location - not too far from the sea or the town centre. Our room was spacious & beautifully furnished,& the whole establishment was immaculately clean. We pre ordered breakfast & this was tasty and cooked well. A parking permit is provided for guests to park free on nearby streets. Adam & Tip are excellent hosts, & baby Jasmine is such a little sweetheart! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Palace Hill 😊

2nd visit this year to the lovely Palace Hotel. Adam and Tip are fantastic hosts, can't do enough for you. The bedrooms are spotless and are cleaned every day. Breakfast is delicious cooked to order, you make your choice the day before . The hotel is ideally situated at the bottom of the main shopping street just up from the seafront and the Lifeboat Fish shop. The Merchant Irish bar is just up the road and has a singer on a Saturday afternoon from 4pm and also entertainment on a Saturday and Sunday Eve. A nice place for a drink after a walk to Scalby Mills and back on Marine Drive. We won't stay anywhere else but the palace. Hope to see you next year

I have been several times great rooms I have at least been in 4 rooms all great different great decor beds bathroom very nice great shower plenty hot water yards away from south bay and minutes away from town centre I was there for jazz festival keep up great work see you next year

Well what can we say, other than what we say every year…just an absolutely amazing place to stay in Scarborough. A true little gem in Scarborough. The rooms are just so modern, clean and comfy. Cleaned every day. The beds are amazingly comfy and the room soo warm, which is lovely to return to on a September night. Adam & Tip, are without doubt, the best owners you can wish for. Always so welcoming, helpful & always time for a chat. Then the best thing.. beautiful baby Jasmine 🥰. She is so beautiful and perfect and we could not be happier for Adam & Tip. A new family of 3 now running the Palace and baby Jasmine is the new queen of the palace 👸🏼 🥰 . Congratulations to you both. Thank you for another wonderful week. We cannot wait to return next year.
