Although the property was nice, I was disappointed upon arrival when I found out I was going to be charged $30 per pet, per night. I would have appreciated this being disclosed openly before arrival, so I could have planned accordingly. What could have been spent towards our anniversary was instead spent on our dogs being able to sleep inside where it was warm. I would have left them home with family if I would’ve known the cost. Hopefully the property can be more open about the cost so other people are not blindsided like we were. Disappointed was an understatement.

We have stayed in this hotel multiple times in the past three years and this stay is our last. Our room was not clean. We found cupcakes that had been in the cupboard over a week. The carpet was filthy and crusty. The heat in our room didn’t work and it was below freezing outside. We told the staff in the morning and they addressed it. They charged a pet deposit, but they don’t clean carpet between visits as there were wet spots and stains everywhere. Furniture was being stored in the stairwells, which is a fire hazard. To say this property has breakfast is a joke. They only had 3 choices of cold cereal and bagels. Very disappointed. The hotel has gone way down hill since we stayed in the spring.

LFound a bedbug on my comforter when I was packing my suitcase to leave. Notified the front desk, they said the manager would contact me in an hour when they came in. When the manager contacted me they assured me they follow a rigorous protocol to ensure no bedbugs are on premises but followed up by asking me what other hotels I’ve stayed at and asked me if it’s possible if I brought it with me. For the past month I’ve stayed exclusively at Rivertide while working in Warrenton, I follow a rigorous protocol of my own to ensure I don’t take unwanted passengers with me home to my family. It felt like my concern was not taken seriously and that management instead felt it more appropriate to blame me for finding bedbugs on their bed… not in my clothes, not in my suitcase, not amongst my belongings, in their bed. I will not be coming back.

We stayed a total of three nights, with a break between to travel to the coast. The first room was better with a king bed and the bathroom was very clean. The second stay was a double queen (maybe my mistake when booked but we were glad for early check in so didn’t request to move to a king), we dropped off our luggage and didn’t look closely. This bathroom had dirty grout, and a soiled shower curtain that we didn’t notice until quite late.

Nice property with all you need for a nice stay near the beach. While not right on the beach, it is easily walkable. Nice pool and work our area, as well as roof top terrace. Full kitchen if you want to cook a few meals and full fridge for drinks and food. Dishwasher and laundry, very helpful for a longer stay. Best of all, a very helpful and kind staff. Recommended.

I would not recommend this place unless you are a dog lover and don’t mind the ensuing lack of cleanliness. We were very disappointed with this stay. The two bedroom suite was spacious and had high ceilings, the pics made it loo like a great catch. There was linoleum in living space with tile in kitchen in bathrooms. The floor was sticky so I tried to clean it, it was filthy! The the rags were completely black and I just did a rough clean. Then the carpet in the bedrooms were also dirty and stained. I asked the front desk about this and he said there were going to remodel it, but hadn’t done our room yet. There were dirty outdated couches that smelled like a wet St. Bernard had been sleeping on them. We honestly just felt so dirty the whole time were there. The hot tub was fine. The breakfast wasn’t great but at least it was something. They had bagels, cereals and weak coffee.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rivertide Suites. Very welcoming vibe with friendly, attentive staff. The location is perfect for walking and visiting the Seaside attractions. We also went to Cannon Beach and Astoria during our stay. The suites are comfortable and as pictured. The spa tub is wonderful. We appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast, even had GF options. We swam in the pool and enjoyed the view from the rooftop patio. The small loveseat couchbed could have been more comfortable to sit on and the kitchen could have had a few more basics, like a sponge but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The room was very spacious and clean. The furniture comfortable (unlike most hotels the bed actually wasn't too soft..kudoos) The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was a little disappointing, but as there are numerous nearby options not a big deal.

I will have to say that the staff was very friendly. However, the room was certainly not worth the amount that I paid for it. (And I got a deal on it.) It was small and I couldn't see anything luxurious about it. Couldn't get the jets on the tub to work and it was hard to get out of. The pool closed at 9pm so no relaxing adult swim here. No view either. No room service. Had to get my own towels and supplies. Pay more and get less!
