果園假日公園(Orchards Holiday Park)

Had a lovely relaxing weekend stay very peaceful site with clean facilities and welcoming staff pool was warm and not too busy. There was a takeaway but didn’t uses it this time also a shop stocked with supplies. Will definitely be returning

Friendly staff only to willing to help and make you feel at home. Well placed site for touring around the island not to far from anywhere good local facilities not to far away. Complete disregard for their neighbours in a small otherwise sleepy village by taking a booking of rugby lads (claimed to be family groups but family groups wouldn't be partying like this) and proceeded to make a nuisance all bank holiday weekend partying late at night and disturbing residents many of whom are elderly. Don't worry Orchards Holiday Park the village residents didn't want a restful bank holiday weekend anyway, I won't be forgetting this in a hurry and I hope others don't either! Hope you don't every need village support for anything!

Very disappointing stay. Only the accessible facilities block open, main toilet/shower blocks shut. Initially no hand drying facilities and no soap. Some was provided eventually, but no soap in the ladies shower/loo room despite requesting it several times over three days. On arrival, not shown to pitch or shown where shower block etc was, just given a map and a QR code. On the weekend, large group of rugby players (mainly children) on the site, with a VERY loud disco two nights running - too loud even in caravan in the rain with TV on loud. Apparently everyone staying on site had been told about this and given the option to book different dates - we hadn't been advised and several others on the site we spoke to hadn't either. Cleanliness in the toilets could have been improved. Smiley face I drew in the dust was still there 3 days later!! Several taps at the washing up sinks didn't work. Very disappointing as we felt it has the potential to be a lovely site, in a lovely position.

Such a beautiful site. We stayed in a caravan which had everything you needed. It is quiet site but is really good. The pool is nice and a good size. Good value and the campsite facilities are very good I would recommend you need a car to get around

Just returned from a Monday to Friday stay at orchards and had a lovely time. Friendly staff at check in which was a great start to the stay, actually never met a member of staff that wasn't friendly. We stayed in one of the static caravans on site and ok the van was one of the older ones so not super plush (but I booked it knowing this so no issue) the van was clean and well equipped which made it a good base for our trip. If I had one gripe it could use some new pillows as they are quite flat but we sorted it out by using pillows of one of the other beds too. The pools were fab, the kids insisted on swimming twice a day once in the morning and then when we returned from our day. Both were clean and warm and staffed again by some lovely people. Visited the shop as we forgot a few bits, it's quite large and stocked with those standard bits you need, it's not a tesco so don't expect to find everything. The takeaway was good, nice touch to get 10% off your first order too. All in all this was a lovely place to stay and we will definitely be returning.

It was our first time camping. We were pleasantly surprised. Lots of people had recommended this site. It is in a beautiful setting overlooking rolling hills. The facilities were very clean, and anything that needed fixing they sorted it. There is a lovely community of campers and it was quiet at night time for our girls. The pitch we had was very flat and there was a field for our daughters and their friends to play. The swimming pools were great fun and shout out to Mr Grumpy on the indoor pool duty - who made us all laugh over the couple of days we were there! We would love to visit again!

We’re just back from a lovely 4 night stay here, we booked a gala caravan which was far superior to other main holiday parks cheapest range, lovely caravan. Due to the weather we didn’t use the outdoor pool but our grandchildren loved the indoor pool which included plenty of things to play with. I didn’t question it while we were there as we were always with the children but wondered why there was a lifeguard outside but not in? Lovely dog walk area & a nice green area for children to play & plenty of cows to see. Separate rooms to play pool, table tennis & a few little grabber machines, just right. All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful, if you don’t want all the hype of loud entertainment & loads of game machines then this would be perfect for you.

The park is ideally placed for adventures and visits around the island, including the Needles. However, the great find for us was the numerous walks in the area, including a great walk that starts from right outside the park. The park has a great shop, cafe and both indoor and outdoor pools, which made staying on site a good option as well. When we return to the IOW we will certainly book this site again.
