Carolyn was absolutely amazing, the stay was great and relaxing and the food was amazing, my fiancé and I were extremely impressed with this hidden gem for sure!!! Definitely would recommend it! I never write reviews on ANYTHING but I couldn’t not write one for this place.

River Spring Lodge is incredible, as are the owners. Location, accommodations, host, chef, food; you couldn't ask for a better experience. We had a four course dinner that was delivered to our room in stages. First course - shrimp cocktail; second course - house salad; third course - Cedar Plank Norwegian Salmon for my wife and a 14 oz certified angus ***** steak with mushrooms for me. Deeeelicious!!

Carolyn was the sweetest! It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The breakfast and tea in the morning were a nice touch. Loved the shower heads as they had 3! Thank you to you both for the last minute accommodations. Very much appreciated your homey and comfy hospitality.

Our stay here was amazing. My husband and I were more than impressed with the hospitality we received from Carolyn and David. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was top notch and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal! We are already planning to head back for our anniversary and to get the dinner service next time as well!

This was our second visit to Riverspring Lodge, and we had an absolutely lovely stay again. The meals are excellent, every detail is attended to, the property is quiet and peaceful, and the hosts are charming and gracious. I love how clean the rooms are too. Incredibly relaxing! Not to mention a very sweet door greeter with four paws. This will be a yearly visit for us!

Wonderful hidden gem!! Had a nice birthday celebration with my husband.The setting is a beautiful wooded property with a pond. The dinner and breakfast were gourmet.The room was beautiful and spotless.Can’t say enough nice things about this place!!

We love to visit River Spring Lodge. It's comfortable, well-appointed and Carolyn is the perfect hostess! The meal is always excellent with generous portions and creative touches. We enjoy the no-touch service to our room. There is a nice table and chairs and plenty of room. In the nice weather, the grounds are walkable. A perfect getaway!

This was our second visit to River Spring Lodge. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! There are so many aspects of River Spring Lodge: The room itself, the gourmet meal, the beautiful setting, and Cuddles (The dog) who greeted our Emma the Pug. We will be back soon.

A wonderful stay. The hosts, Carolyn and David, are well prepared for guests to enjoy a memorable time away. We went as a couple. Our stay included the in-room dining. The meal was perfect! The presentation and timing was spot on. The food was outstanding-salmon and steak are phenomenal. The room has numerous thoughtful touches: heated floors in the bathroom, double sinks, multiple pillows, and even robes with slippers. Absolutely wonderful trip in a peaceful setting. We hope to stay again in the future.
